Great Stay!
We had a very comfortable stay and was able to do some things. The only thing you have to pay for parking which should be free for guests.

bad choice
First of all, we reserved a room with a king size bed and was assigned a room with 2 double beds. The beds were small and were not meant for 2 people to sleep on, therefore, we left after 2 days and did not stay for the entire 6 days that we paid for. No refunds were offered by the hotel. We moved into another hotel which was more to our liking. Finally, the staff that assisted us while helpful did not speak English well enough to understand their guests and to be understood. Very dissapointed in this hotel which charges for parking and anything else that does not come with the room to include internet service.

I had a rental car, so that made the difference. I had interest in staying close to the Alexandria- Washington area. Very convenient. But be aware that parking is $18.00 a night.

If you like seafood, fried food, salads, beef and pasta. Lunch at Phillips in Washington, DC harbor. For mere $19.00 have All You can eat deal. To me it was worth it.

Business trip oasis
Was in Northern Virginia on 3-day business trip and booked my first stay at this hotel. Great choice! The rate was unbelievable for such a quality hotel. Had a very nice room with a view. The staff was very friendly and restaurant food was tasteful. Hotel is ideally located just off I-395. If I had any complaint, it would be cost of hotel parking at $18/night, but I guess this is to be expected in a metro area where parking is a premium. Highly recommend and I will definitely be staying here again.

Take the shuttle to Pentagon City from the hotel, from there you can go to very good shopping centres around, and also be just 2-4 stations away from the famous memorials, arlington cementery, etc etc... also, if coming from Dulles, check google for the 5M express bus from the airport, and then local metro... very easy. Cheers!

What happened Hilton???
I've stayed at many Hilton hotels but this one by far needed help. I was on the 29th floor, and the elevator stopped on every 3rd floor going up and down...no buttons were even pushed. The floor around the toilet leaked also. Plus they decided that painting the ceiling right near where you had to go out to the parking garage seemed like a good idea. Definately would not stay here again.
