We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and had a good experience. It fit our needs well. We wanted a hotel where all six of us good stay comfortably, with a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every meal. The rooms were quite big, and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The staff was extremely friendly. They deserve an extra star. The location was great--very close to the freeway without being close enough to hear it! The breakfast was good. There was enough variety to keep us happy for all the days we were there.

This hotel was a good fit for my family needs. We were attending a youth basketball tournament -which means you need space, convenience and comfort. The room had spacious living and kitchen area where you were not cramped. The beds were soft and comfortable. The best amenities we needed were the complementary breakfast and laundry facility. I did not have to go outside of the hotel to purchase breakfast or clean my son's uniform. Great value for my family.

The hotel is too close to a busy high way. 1st night I stayed on 3nd floor facing high way and was waked up many times by the traffic.

While the hotel room was very clean, the walls were VERY thin and we could hear conversations from next door. Also, very noisy upstairs neighbors (thumping feet) which made it difficult to sleep.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the price and the proximity to DC. There is a free shuttle service to the Metro. We had a two bedroom suite which was pretty nice. The second bedroom was small with no closet or dresser but since it was just used for sleeping, it was alright. There is a fully stocked kitchen, with full sized fridge and oven. The hotel does have a breakfast buffet that was good. Monday through Thursday there is a managers reception with a meal and free drinks, including beer and wine. That was great! The food was good and filling. Nice to come to after a long day of sightseeing. The only real complaint we had was the wait for the shuttle and the length of time it took to get to the main sightseeing areas of DC. The time on the Metro was between 30 and 45 minutes. On the return to the hotel you have to call from the the Metro stop to have the shuttle pick you up. One time we waited over 45 minutes even though I was told it would be 15 minutes when I called in. Then they were kind of snippy when I called a second time to see what the delay was. Most of the staff were nice, especially the bartender, he was exceptionally friendly. Next time I would want to stay in closer, but would consider this again.

Great location for a dc visit. Convenient for Van Doren metro stop, used hotel shuttle service which was very efficient. You can drive to the station yourself and park which cost $4.50 per day. You have to use trip card that you purchase in the station to gain entry - that costs $5 but is reusable. Nice breakfast, clean facilities. Suite was great, very spacious with separate kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

I have never seen a hotel is such total disrepair. This hotel was under repair and that it requires extensive remodeling in suites, including new carpets, linens and draperies to eliminate the smell of soiled and mildew fabrics. We stayed approximately 30 minutes and checked out. I am a heart patient with COPD and I had two breathing attacks in less than 30 minutes. I do not recommend this hotel for any guests in the near future.
