Service was great. Very prompt. Rooms very exceptionally clean. Beds like floating, they were so comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating, I have disabilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the DC area.

I would've given three stars plus had I not been locked out twice. We had to wait 20-30 minutes when we first entered the room because the electronic door lock was dead. Maintenance needed a couple trips to get the right tools. When we entered the room the tv was on. A little creepy. Should have been a clue. But we were in a hurry to make our show so we settled in. When we returned after midnight the lock didn't work again! More waiting for maintenance. It still hadn't been replaced by morning. One usually expects the manager to make some accommodation when you are inconvenienced to this degree but none was offered.

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and had a good experience. It fit our needs well. We wanted a hotel where all six of us good stay comfortably, with a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every meal. The rooms were quite big, and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The staff was extremely friendly. They deserve an extra star. The location was great--very close to the freeway without being close enough to hear it! The breakfast was good. There was enough variety to keep us happy for all the days we were there.

I recently stayed for the 2nd time here. The first time I would have given the place 5 stars due to it maybe an older hotel and not everything maybe new or updated but it offers so much more than your standard place at a very reasonable price. The second time I would rate this place 1-2 stars so my overall rating is 3. My problem the 2nd time was purely based on the cleaning staff. The first morning at about 9am the cleaning staff was having a loud argument infront of my room. Being from the west coast it was still 6am and I was trying to sleep on my first day of vacation. When I walked out to ask them to have that conversation / argument infront of my door they looked at me as if I was being rude. The next time issue was at about 4 in the afternoon a cleaning staff tried to enter my room. I had just got out of the shower and was not dressed. I said from behind the door I didnt need anything. She then proceeded to try to open the door after i just told her i did not need anything. I pushed it shut then told her again no. She then tried to open the door with more force again. I had to slam it shut. She wasnt going away i opened the door slightly to show my face and she looked at me and asked "room service?' I said no she then asked "you didnt call" i said no again shut and locked the door. I refused to let the cleaning staff in the room the rest of the time I was there. I went and exchanged towels when I needed them. I would still recommend this as a place to stay. Based on the convenience and amenities i would stay there again. But not a 4th if i have another bad stay.

Cosey , close to where I needed to go the staff is friendly and accommodation were great .

employee was not sensitive to my concern about the assigned living area, after speaking directly to the manager, the manager made a slight adjustment to accomodate me

I had a good experiences in DC. And all the Hotels in DC are overpriced, especially with the parking. Valet parking in DC Hotels will charge you the same price as you bought the room online. 30-60$ per night. This hotel is free parking and free breakfast, which is already a good savings and is a very good location. You take the highway 395 south and you are in DC in 15mns.

Stay was pleasant, however the room was either too hot or too cold no happy medium. The room was much smaller than what was shown in the pictures. If you are going to use use the Metro if you have a vehicle drive it to the Metro Station do not rely on the hotel shuttle. We were told the shuttle would pick us up in 15 minutes an hour later and two phone calls later it finally arrived.

This hotel was a good fit for my family needs. We were attending a youth basketball tournament -which means you need space, convenience and comfort. The room had spacious living and kitchen area where you were not cramped. The beds were soft and comfortable. The best amenities we needed were the complementary breakfast and laundry facility. I did not have to go outside of the hotel to purchase breakfast or clean my son's uniform. Great value for my family.

My wife and I spent the night before Xmas here; we were among not-many guests, but the staff was friendly, the breakfast next morning (scrambled eggs, bacon, potato patties, waffles, etc.) was bountiful; and the price was very good. My only caution is to ask for a room on the back side of the hotel; on the front there is considerable noise from Van Dorn St.--only some attributable to reindeer.
