PICK ANOTHER HOTEL
I THOUGHT THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS RUDE AND DIDN'T REALLY CARE WE WERE THERE. THE DIETARY STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. ONE OF THE SHUTTLE DRIVERS DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND WE HAD A 45 MIN. WAIT TO BE PICKED UP. THE PILLOWS WERE AWFUL, WHO SLEEPS ON A SQUARE PILLOW. THEY HAVE SOME AIRLINE EMPLOYEE BUSINESS, SO I QUESS THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE AVERAGE CITIZEN. WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN.

Great Location
The metro was easibly accessable through the hotel shuttle. It made the trip so much easier for us rather than looking for parking when we were in the city and it lowered the cost of the whole trip. Watch out for the hidden parking cost at hotel and food prices in general in the area.

Great Location
The room was clean, and spacious, but the bed was not very comfortable. I got this hotel rented on a discount, I would never pay the actual room cost it's not worth it. I enjoyed the easy access to public transit. It made the trip a whole lot easier. Food prices are a bit crazy, and you have to pay extra money for parking per day.

Located a few blocks for King St. you can shop and take the trolley free to many quaint stores as well as many dining choices. Also, not far from the metro to go to National Airport or to D.C.

I can't believe my stay
My flight got in early(2:55pm), I contacted Crowne Plaza and I was informed that the shuttles ran every 30mins and I should stand outside so the driver could see me. I waited for the shuttle for over an hour in cold and still no shuttle. Around 4:05, the shuttle finally arrived at the airport. By the time I got to the hotel I was sick and had missed my business meeting. [...], who worked at the frontdesk was very helpful. But the lady that worked with him was very rude to my quest. I selected the Crowne Plaza because I was very impressed with their hotel. But after my visit last week, I don't think I will ever stay at that hotel again. I will be traveling to that area every three months on business. Overall, I was very unsatisified with my visit to the Crowne Plaza.

shuttle nightmare
The shuttle passed me by at the airport, had to wait an additional 45 minutes for the next shuttle. check in staff were rude.

Great location in a great city!
This hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of Old Town Alexandria. Just leave the hotel and head left several blocks and you'll be right in the heart of things. There is a free trolley on King St. that will take you to Metro. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to the airport, where you can also catch Metro. There is a park located directly across the street from the hotel with tennis courts and playground. If you walk straight 2 blocks after exiting the hotel, you will find a grocery store if needed. There are a couple of deli/coffee shops right across the street as well.

Fantastic Hotel for Business or Vacation
The hotel is top notch. The location could not be better. Located in old town ALexandria right next to the lake and near King Street. The hotel has a free shuttle every 30 minutes back and forth to and from Raegan Airport, which is great for the travelling, but also great for catching the train to DC. Overall, I rate it excellent!! The staff could be a bit more freindly.

Not far from King Street. GO to Lake and walk along lake about 6 blocks until you get to the Marina and Torpedo Factory and you at the base of King Steet, where everything is happening.
