A very satisfied customer
Fantastic Service
While in Alexandria I didnt need a rental because they have a wonderful public transportation system. The hotel provided complimentary drop off and pick up to the nearest train stop which was wonderful. The attendants were always helpful and kind when I made a request or asked for any service. The cleaning crew was very efficient and didnt bother me when I was still in my room when they initially came by to clean it. My trip to the area was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Go to the Royal Restaurant. Local place that serves the best Sunday buffet I have been to for such a low price.

Weekend get away
It was a nice hotel. My husband and I spent most of the time in DC but the location of the hotel was great, close to the train station, few minutes far from the airport in DC. It was a good deal.

Old town Alexandria has wonderful restaurants. Everything is very gourmet. Amazing !

Lovely Hotel!
The hotel is very nice, and the room was beautiful. The members of the day time staff were very nice and helpful. I do wish that they had offered a free continental breakfast, though.

Great experience!
We needed a place to stay for a weekend trip to DC. This hotel was great! The location is only about a block and a half away from the metro station that is easy to get to by car or walking, and there is also a shuttle that can take you there as well. The room and hotel were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with every question that we had. The staff at the bistro located in the hotel was great as well, the food was good, but a little expensive. The hotel was worth the price that we paid, and was one of the cheaper ones that we could find. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I knew who was going to DC or Mt. Vernon for a vacation.

Perfect for the price
The rooms were clean. The hotel was clearly remodeled. They have a shuttle that takes you to the Metro Station. Overall great for the price. The Metro is nearby but walking is probably not the best idea since you have to walk over a bridge. The restaurant in the hotel sucks. I suggest buying snacks to keep in the room. This hotel is perfect for people who do not plan to be in the hotel long period of time. We only used it to sleep. I would recommend it. It didn't smell nasty either which is really important to me!

Had to travel to Old Town for dining. Good thing was you can take the hotel shuttle to the metro station then take the free trolley that takes you through King St where all the restaurants are located.

The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed here because we wanted good access to the Metro at a reasonable price. It is a long walk to the Metro station (though not too far if you have to). The shuttle was great except that a couple of times we returned after the shuttle had quit running at 10:45. The other issue is that upon occasion the shuttle was too full to handle all of the people who wanted to ride because, in addition to the Courtyard, the shuttle also serviced the nearby Springhill. We got the breakfast as part of our room, but the breakfast was marginal. I would have prefered the typical self-serve buffet (you know, where you can make your own waffle). Instead, it was a pre-created menu that locked you in to limited choices. Overall, it was okay, but I am not sure I would choose it again.

Bad Attitude
All stuff had a terrible attitude to us. They mentioned we had no booking and kept us waiting over 30 minutes until check in. At second night, they canceled our room without notice. Due to the absence of hotel manager, they didn't provide any option for us except another booking. We will no longer use this hotel.
