Perfect location to Mavrick Center
Enjoyed the stay. The hotel is the perfect location to walk to the Mavrick Center for the hockey game. I also thought the ability to walk to the local bars and eateries was great too. Theater with amusement center (mini golf, arcade, kids dream...) Wonderful stay. Will stay again.

Cheap price for a great room.
Everything was great. It was the cheapest rate for a hotel and even had a kitchen. It was clean, minus the hole of the toilet (that was nasty, but could've just been stained.) The staff was friendly. I'm already planning another trip there with my kids and I know I'll book the same hotel.

The staff was nice but not very professional. Our room smelled musty although it looked well cleaned. Furnishings and top bed linens were worn and threadbare. Our iron didn't work (we requested and they eventually did replace it). They were out of extra hairdryers. We were waiting for the elevator. It opened and the cleaning lady stepped out and leaving 3 bags of trash behind for us to ride downstairs with. When we returned that evening the hallways smelled terrible -- think stale cooking smells. We would not stay there again.

holding my nose
Blech!
First of all, I requested a non-smoking room and when I checked in, if someone hadn't cancelled via the internet, I would have had to check right back out again because they didn't have me in a non-smoking room. They said they can't guarantee that! What the??? The elevator, hallway and rooms stunk really bad, the bathroom was so tiny, I had to back in, basically, and I'm not a large person! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I ever stay here again! Ick!

There's a Chili's, Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, IHOP all within walking distance. There's also a theatre and movie theatre around the same area too.

Great place to relax
We had a wonderful trip on our recent trip to thely Extended Stay at West Valley City, UT. We had never been to the Salt Lake City area and were presently surprised at the close proximity to downtown Salt Lake City and the airport. The location of the Hotel was great. It was close to many great restaurants and a nice mall. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely want to stay here again.
