It is my fault for booking a motel at the last minute. We just needed a comfortable bed and somewhere to change and take a shower for the night. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. Too bad we forgot our pillows from home!
The bathroom was filthy and there was a terrible smell coming out of the sink drain - so bad that we had to keep a washcloth in it. When taking a shower, the water wouldn't seem to go past lukewarm. The walls were paper-thin with a large family next door with kids who cried and ran around screaming. We had to keep our TV on to drown out the noise. The towels were really cheap and small. For a Saturday night, we ended up paying at least $30 more than this room should have been. There was paint smeared all over the carpeting and very sloppy repairs on the walls and ceilings, especially in the bathroom. We didn't eat anything in the front lobby, so I can't comment on that, and we didn't swim in the pool. We definitely won't be staying here again.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Spend your time in Zion's Park! It is unforgettable!
The staff was unfriendly, we got checked in and went to our room to find it had not been cleaned. They moved us into another room which was quite a bit smaller. We tried to get extra towels and after waiting 20 minutes went to the office to get
them, the employee in the office was rude and didn't want to give us towels. It is just as expensive as nicer places in the area.
There was construction on a wall in the back of the motel, which meant we were not able to park very close to our room, which was on the back side. But that's temporary. Not a bad place, just nothing special.
