Great updates

I have been staying at this hotel since I was a child and have always loved it. They continue to update their facilities and rooms, and I love bringing my children there now. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. I love the breakfast they serve--although the breakfast room is small and not very accessible (you have to go down a lot of stairs and there is no elevator). I would recommend getting your food and taking it to eat poolside--if weather permits. Finding an open table in the breakfast room is iffy. Overall, I really like this hotel.

Good value

The hotel was as very clean and comfortable, as we expected from its rating, and we appreciated its proximity to a nearby Thai cuisine restaurant. Like most hotels with a heat pump in each guest room, we found that the heater in our room made more noise than a typical home heating/cooling system.

Will stay there again.

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel based on price I paid. A definite value. Staff was wonderful and made you feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast was much better than typical for BW hotels. REAL, hot scrambled eggs (not powdered), french toast, sausage, and of course the waffle maker. For dinner there are many choices- Chinese Buffet up the block had good food at reasonable price. Room was very clean and the pillows I slept on rivaled Hilton's. Slept like a baby. Room was dark and quiet!! I travel a lot, so I little things are important and can make/break a trip.. This is the place I will stay when I have business in St. George again.

Coral Hills Best Western

My only problem was the heat in the room. I set the thermostat to 72 and in the middle of the night the fan started blowing loudly and the heater turned on full force this happen at 3 am both nights. We had to turn the thermostat down to 65 to stop it then the air-conditioning started. It was loud and hot or cold, I didnt call the desk it was 3am and I didnt want to change rooms. Ive never had an problem like this before. Rooms where clean and pretty . I didnt think the free breakfast was very good but you get what you pay for

Just perfect for the price.

Coral Hills is the only place we want to stay when we're in St. George. In the past 6 months, we've stayed here three times, each time being just delightful. I've rated it 5 stars because, for the price, you can't find a better place to stay if you're looking for an above average motel that won't break your budget. The rooms have been remodeled within the past year and all have that Best Western upgrade feel to them. It's apparent the Coral Hills housekeeping staff takes pride in their work. This has to be one of the cleanest motel/hotels I've stayed in, anywhere. The towels are whitest white and have a soft, thick, fluffy feel to them. I've yet to see any kind of debris on the carpet or tiled bathroom, including dust. And the tubs are shiney clean, along with the tub enclosure. Beds are pillowtop and medium soft, so I really have to squirm around to settle down due to back issues, but with four pillows on each queen bed, there's always a way to comfortable prop my self nicely. In summer, the outdoor pool is kept clean and debris free; in fall winter, the same can be said of the indoor pool and spa. I haven't used the exercise room, so you'll have to look elsewhere for info on that. The breakfast area includes waffles, yoghurt, cold cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, little sausages, bacon, etc. You really won't have to head out for an overpriced breakfast somewhere. Front desk staff is welcoming and seem eager to help out with any issues. You just can't go wrong with this place. We'll be back,.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Try using 200 North to navigate around St. George. It parallels St. George Blvd (the main drag) and you don't have any lights or traffic to mess with. Also, be sure to check out the view from on top of the mesa just north of the motel, on Red Cliffs Drive. There are some hiking trails off this road that can get you into red rock area if you want a short nature hike/walk within 5 minutes of the motel. Turn north onto 200 East, and follow the winding road up to the mesa top.

Nice get-away

Centrally located on the St. George blvd, great value for the money, and quite comfortable! Free continental breakfast that was only so-so, but good if you need something quick and easy. If your room is close to the blvd. you'll hear lots of traffic noise.

Great value in St George

I enjoyed my stay at this very clean and comfortable hotel in downtown St George. You get a lot for your money at this place including well appointed rooms, nice large screen TV, great pool with a waterfall, and a good complete breakfast in the morning.
