Wingate by Wyndham St. George

Stayed here on a mini-vacation and loved every minute of it. It is tucked away in a nice little corner away from the freeway and is quiet. It is in walking distance of Wal-mart so if you forget something its easy to get. Staff was nice and friendly and accommodated us when needed. I would definitely stay here again.

I am very easily grossed out by hotels. At this hotel I wasn't scared to touch anything. Even though I still had thoughts of, "have they ever wiped down the headboard" or "do they ever shampoo the couch" it wasn't because it was dirty, just me being overly concerned. It was clean and I would stay there again. My husband said the bed was too hard and he was bothered by the out of service hot tub. (Teenagers had dumped alcohol in it the night before so I think he's just being silly about that complaint.) I would ask for the top floor if possible, the ceiling sounds like it's going to cave in whenever the guests walk around. All in all, at the end of the trip we give it 3.5 stars. Great place to stay for a few nights.

This hotel was really nice and clean. The staff was fabulous except for one overnight woman that was awful.She was the overnight person on Saturday night.

Our whole trip was planned to St George because we wanted to visit Zions national park, hike Snow canyon, and get away from work. While we enjoyed our days out in Utah's beauty, we were also able to come back to a nice quite stay at our hotel. The rooms were very nice and cozy. The breakfast that is provided is great and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is the swimming pool is kinda small, but this wont keep me from staying here again. I will be looking forward to staying at the Wingate again.

The room was nice, altough the carpet looked a little dirty everything else was clean and nice. The breakfast is served from 6:00am to 9:00am, who wants to get up at 6:00am when you're on vacation? At first the remote for the TV didn't work but a quick trip to the front desk and we were up and running. The people and the Front desk were wonderful. A little disapointed that they didn't mention the "discount packages" at the time of reservations or check-in. Really, really hard beds.

Stayed in St. George while visiting Zion NP for 4th of July weekend. The hotel was just what we asked for. The staff was wonderful (very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there). Our room was made up every day (must say they even organized our stuff on the table). The bed was firm, which was what I preferred (I wish I knew where they get their pillows from because I want them. The bathroom was a bit awkwardly designed but not really a huge problem. Breakfast was a nice addition as well.

Great breakfast, nice rooms, very clean, nice pool and hot tub. Workout room was great too- and always empty when I wanted to use it. Helpful friendly staff. I would stay there again. It is a little bit south of town, but not too far.
