What a treat! I took my teenage son for a two-day retreat, what a gift. Top notch comfort and total serenity. The only drawback were the occaisonal staff armed with rules (no cell phones poolside, despite the aqua-arobics class instructions microphone blasting to disney-disco tunes)...seems there would be a more relaxed approach to rules using reason. Food was excellent, spa is awesome, pools are sweet and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great Moms weekend get-away! (Not many men.)

Loved it! And I'm a hotel snob :)

Check in was easy, although it takes some time to understand how all of the amenities work. Be aware that the price you book may be "a la carte" and does not cover all 3 meals (breakfast was included[...].This hotel/spa was the perfect mix of upscale and simple. Great service, lots of activities, great food (a focus on healthy but definitely not in a militant way!), approachable staff. Guests are mostly focused on the outdoor experience, and I didn't see one diva in the place. There were a mix of couples, friends, solo travelers (men and women) and some mother/daughter groups.Morning hikes were great, we borrowed bikes for an afternoon and toured the area. You can hike/ bike with the group or you can go it alone (they always recommend the guided trips, but you don't get a sales pitch at all and there is zero attitude if you prefer to go it alone).I would have liked:updated room furniture-- it was pretty banged up in spotswi-fi! You have to get an ethernet cable from the front deskfirmer beds-- many layers of all white, very fluffy but a bit tough on the backSOFT linens-- towels and sheets need some softener, they were roughall in all, I really loved my stay: 3 days of hiking, biking, yoga and stretch classes, great food (beer/wine available), plus friendly accommodating service. I'm already thinking about returning in a few months!

Not necessarily for families

I don't think the resort should restrict children under 12, because there were teenagers running around late at night. They were smoking and partying. I would have been less disturbed by sleeping babies! Utah is a family-oriented state, so why the restriction?? I won't stay there again. For the price, the room was very small. I kept my small children home because the hotel wouldn't allow them.
