Great weekend getaway

This hotel was an A+, we were delighted with the room, it was so spacious, we had a great king bed and a lovely sitting area. The bed was very comfy and the temp. control for the room worked wonderfully, sometimes you can get really cold, this was controlled by a thermostat, nice touch. The staff was friendly and pretty knowledgeable, what they couldn't tell us we were able to learn at the BLM office just east of the hotel. We went to relax and ride our bikes, the hotel is just a short distance to get onto one of the many bike/walk pathes that abound in the St George area. The breakfasts were great with several options. It would be nice to have more fruit. The hotel walls are a bit thin, we could hear others t.v.'s and worried that ours might also be to loud. The pool area is wonderful, but be prepared the pool was very cool, bordering on cold. Their are two hot tubs to get warm in. We would stay here again in a hearbeat. Thanks

Nice Hotel, but Bad Staff

If you want a place that is close to everything, but you don't like a helpful staff or your room cleaned, this is a great place to stay. While attempting to check in and check out, I had to wait for the person at the desk to get off of the phone. I could understand if they were handling hotel business, but they weren't. Housekeeping was worthless. The garbage wasn't emptied, towels were left lying on the floor, and I think that my small child could teach them how to make a bed. The hotel offers a great breakfast, but don't bother asking the staff in the kitchen questions. I asked if they had syrup. They lady must not have spoke English. She just gave me a puzzled look, rolled her eyes, and walked away. I don't think that I will be back.

Unbeatable location for the price

The location to other attractions was great. Close to several picturesque national parks and a few hours drive from Las Vegas. There are some great walking/bicycle trails along the red rocks and river. The weather was a little chilly the first day but was great after that. The room was clean and spacious. The only complaint with the hotel was noise from other rooms. For a new hotel, they should have added additional insulation between rooms. Otherwise, it is a good place to stay and enjoy the surroundings.

Good room at good rate

Stayed one night for business. The lobby is nice; there are magazines available to take to your room and read, a small display of necklaces and bracelets to buy, and one desk with a computer and printer next to a soda machine and ice maker. Check-in was fast and easy. The room was very clean. There were two comfortable beds, a club chair, and a desk with free wired internet. A cheap door mirror on the wall for full-length viewing; could have been nicer mirror. The refrigerator wasn't very cold. The air conditioner worked very well but the fan was loud and I had to turn the TV up quite a bit to hear it. The radio/alarm clock has a cable to listen to mp3 players. I had no problem with noise from neighbors. Bathroom is very clean, comes with two soaps, lotion/shampoo/conditioner. No shower cap, mending kit etc. Lots of hot water, clean soft towels. When I called the front desk to ask if they could give me a new lightbulb for my bedside lamp, they said I could come pick one up at the front desk. I left my swimsuit in the room accidentally and upon calling, one staff member told me to be sure to make a followup call because staff could be lazy about following up. The indoor hot tub which was really nice and clean. The hot breakfast in the nice big dining room with TV had bacon and scrambled eggs, a variety of breads, bagels, muffins, coffee/juice, cereal/oatmeal, fruit, etc. Location-wise, it was close to the freeway and there are a couple restaurants right next to the hotel, but if you're looking for a hotel located within a short walking distance to the concentrated downtown area, I would stay elsewhere. Overall this hotel was fine. Personally I like more extras as in 4* hotels but this was great for business and short trips. I wouldn't stay here if I were planning on relaxing extensively at the hotel.
