Nice Room

The hotel was nice. The water in the pool and jacuzzi was warm. The woman at the desk when I checked in was very helpful. I need an address to a restaurant where I was supposed to meet some people so she looked it up online gave me a map of St. George.

Quiet and comfortable

This was our overnight location between going to the Grand Canyon and Zion's National Parks. The location of this Best Western was great for us. We wanted to take some photos of the St. George Temple and it was only a few blocks away. The pool was very enjoyable and the area seemed quiet even though the location was on a busy highway. We would come and stay here again.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

We always like to eat at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. There is one located about 5 minutes away going south on the freeway. It is especially great for families and you can't beat the price or quality of the food.

Great room at a great price!

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Aside from that, great hotel.

Great location and price in St George

This is a very nice single story 'motor-lodge' style hotel. The facility is very clean and in good condition. The rates were excellent and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very minimal and only included high carbohydrate inexpensive food and had poor seating available.

A great Italian restaurant and sports bar (yes, with alcohol and flat screen HDTV!) within a close drive of the hotel was Scaldoni's (801-674-1300). A great breakfast can be found in St George close by at The Egg and I.

Wonderful motel

Everything was very good until breakfast and then the only thing that went wrong is myspouse's waffle came apart when the iron was opened up. She made another one on another iron and that wqs okay. We would recommend that they have some spray to put on the iron so this would not happen and it would be easier cleanup.

looking for sun

Great location with easy access to activities in which we were interested, i.e. national parks, golf, movies, sunshine. We were able to relax because we stayed in the same room for an extended stay, didn't have to keep packing up and moving. Really the only things that would have made it better would be heating the pool and a bath tub that drained.

Quaint Hotel

For the price, our suite worked out well. It's an older hotel, but clean and quaint. Friendly staff helped make the stay very nice.

Very Pleasant

This place was a great value for the money. It was easy to find and the staff were very helpful & friendly. I was impressed with how big the room was! Everything was clean and comfortable... except maybe the pillows could use some improvement. Time to upgrade those. I will say that this was the first time that I actually took the amenities from the bathroom home with me; If I ever stay in St. George again, I'll be sure to crash there.

I might recommend that you stop by Nielsen's Frozen Custard down the road if you need a sweet treat. Sooooo delicious and creamy!
