Our visit to Zion NP
Well....it's a magical little town, and their location is good, but the room (and bathroom especially) were a bit rundown and were in need of maintenance and/or remodeling. The toilet's housing to the floor was loose and rocked around, and it wouldn't flush properly. (There was a sign taped on next to the flush lever saying something like "hold down for a long time to drain".) The shower stall was the size of telephone booth and looked like it was installed in the 70's. Also, there weren't obvious electrical sockets at the places you needed them. (And the one that WAS there was so receded that I could barely plug my iPhone charger into it. Other than that, it was swell. ;-) (...but I don't think I'll be returning.)

Terrace Brook Lodge
My adult son and I stayed here on a backpacking trip. Room is very dated. Beds could use new linen and mattress. Location was very close to Zion National Park and stores in Springdale, I would not stay here with my wife and family.

Zion visitor
Bad choice
This place is rundown, unclean, in need of much maintenance. We intended to stay two nights, but after seeing the room, elected to cancel second night. Hotel operator was very resistant and unhelpful - had to really pressure hard to get refund of the prepaid second night. But the place was so bad we wouldn't have stayed another night even if the refund had been refused. Totally bad experience.

perfect for value trip
Room was everything I needed while visiting Zion. Basic room with no frills but very affordable and saved me a lot of money.

Make sure to visit Oscar's. Terrific small restaurant just down the street, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.

Very Pleased!!!!
This hotel is a great value in Springdale! The rooms are clean, free wi-fi, in-room fridges, free continental breakfast, and a fantastic view out your front door! Keep in mind, this is an older, smaller motel. It will not have large, spacious rooms, and is not fancy or upscale. My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights, and found the owner friendly and accomodating. It was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back!

Check out the deli at Sol Foods Supermarket. Everything there is made fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. It's a 3 minute walk from this hotel.

The Berndog
Acceptable
Overall acceptable. The TV needed to warm up before the color was right. The shower came out in a trickle, but bath was ok plenty of hot water to soak in. No coffee pot in room. No cream cheese at breakfast in the morning for the bagels. The manager gave me a hard time about getting the room with the three beds since there was only two of us (thought we were trying to rip him off for the extra ten dollars per person).

Stay at Zion Motel
The motel is very conveniently located to the Zion Natl. Park. That's the only good thing. Our room was very small and had only a portable heater to keep us warm. Bed was not comfortable. Carpets were in bad shape and smelled like wet basement. No hair dryer. Free breakfast was very basic. It's a rustic lodging at best but priced higher.

Grumpy traveler
Very poor hotel
This hotel is in beautiful Springdale, UTah but belongs in skid row, anytown USA. Mistake staying here...watered down coffee, uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls you can hear everything from your neighbors, small room.
