Very poor hotel

This hotel is in beautiful Springdale, UTah but belongs in skid row, anytown USA. Mistake staying here...watered down coffee, uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls you can hear everything from your neighbors, small room.

Poor excuse for a hotel

Very old dingy hotel. The shower was fine, if you're 4 1/2 foot tall, the walls are razor thin, you can hear everything in neighbors room, coffee was weak, rooms were ugly and smelled bad and you could barely understand the owners accent.

Poor hotel in a beautifu location

Springdale, Utah is a beautiful place, but this hotel belongs on skid row, anytown, USA. The bathroom toilet's water kept running, had to lift up the cover and untangle the chain numerous times. The shower walls had hairs left over from the previous guest. The room was small and not comfortable. The coffee at the continental breakfast was watery. The sheets did not cover the bed properly and kept coming off during sleep, where our bodies touched the mattress, and probably worst of all, the walls are so paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING in the room next to you, no privacy whatsoever.

Not Horrible

I stayed two nights in Zion with my two boys. The hotel manager was not as bad to me as described in other posts. Not a friendly host but not horrible either. The hotel was clean and best of all, in a GREAT location! It actually looks like my room had some picture and paint upgrades, nice tones, and it made me feel comfortable. The worst part was not being able to sleep from a pretty rough mattress and the light from the porch could not have made me more nuts all night; I even put the comforter over the curtains to drown out the light. The small, little pool was closed for the season but the hotel would have been almost perfect if they had heated it and kept it open till the end of October, early November. Beautiful weather.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Thai restaurant was delicious! Not the best staff but the food was excellent. They say on the menu they don't accept credit cards, but it turns out they do.

Great location, sub par hotel

The heater for the room is a portable electric heater that is like having a bright light on all night. We got to brekfast about an hour before it closed they were out of bagels and doughnuts by that time. Both soda machines on the location were broken and so was the ice machine. Our tv picture had a nice green tint as well. My wufe was amazed that this was the first hotel in 20 years we stayed at with no hair dryer. My wife and i argued that the room decor was either from the 70's or 80's. Oribitz has is room listed as 3 stars, we also stayed on the las vegas strip in a 3 star hotel on the same vacation. The vegas hotel was way nicer!

Good for Zion NP

The hotel was in the right location but the services were not that good. The wifi service was very poor and unstable, there was no hairdryer and the breakfast coffee was very weak.

Much to be desired

The location to Zion was great. The breakfast was barely adequate and the coffee was so weak. The dining area was very small and the sign to "eat fast" was insulting". There was little sound insulation so the people above us kept us awake. The owner asked them to be quiet which helped a little.
