Great location

Hotel was nice. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are not bad but a lot is missing. No q-tips no shower cap, and some other minor things usually all hotels offer. Hotel decoration is made of wood, strange but nice. It has a museum of wild animals that is a must see. The restaurant at the hotel is not great but is very expensive. Overall I rated 3 out of 5

Lovely hotel near Zion Park

A terrific setting at the western end of Springdale, close to Zion National Park. A large, beautiful, clean room with a small porch for stargazing. And the views truly are majestic!

What about the view?

They did not call this hotel MAJESTIC VIEW for nothing. The view from the terrace is really MAJESTIC. View-wise...it's currently number 1 on my list of views I've ever had in a hotel. Although I'm biased since I love Geology. That's not to say I' haven't been in Vegas or any other part of the country. The Majestic View Lodge has a more of a nature theme in it's room but it's a theme that works well with the location. The only thing I can complain about is...LCD TVs are so cheap now that those Tube TVs in their rooms can go. But it's not like they misrepresented it because on their website, on the picture of the room they actually showed what kind of TV they had.

The steak at their restaurant is very decent but prepare to pay more. The next best steak is 41 miles. So you weigh in the pros & cons. :)

Great Location

Fantastic view and great patio/balcony. Location is close, perfect to catch the shuttle into Springdale and enjoy the local ambiance. Felt room was a little pricey for what you get, no flat screen TV, older antiquated AC, and shower was really old, no upgrades. Clean room and office staff was helpful and friendly.

Good location, average accommodations

Positives: good location, quiet, good food and gift shop. Negatives: no elevator, no signage to indicate room locations, hot water in the sink but not in the shower! Only compensation offered was two bottles of water! Lesson learned: make sure everything is working before you start to unpack. If we had tried the shower, the problem could have been discovered early enough to get maintenance or change rooms.

LOVED this place!!!

Excellent (gorgeous views) location just out of town. Rustic room decor with balcony, small fridge, comfy bed and new TV. The only upgrade needed is new lounges in the pool area. The seats are broken on the recliners....

Close to the Zion National Park

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Zion National Park, but it is overpriced. For the money I paid, I expected a much better place. In the room, the sound insulation isn't very good, and the neighbors above were loud. Also, the heater made a very loud noise when it restarted. The hotel restaurant served dinner, but has no breakfast.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Our stay was very pleasant. The ambiance was great, the staff were attentive and professional, the room was clean and well appointed, the restaurant at the hotel had great food (Steak Oscar and homemade peach cobbler for dessert), the scenery was incredible and there were very few tourists in town. We could drive everywhere in the Park. Not sure I would even want to visit in the summertime. We'll definitely be back.
