Hiking weekend
The location is great. The view is very nice but not as spectacular as the hype. The Best Western has a better east facing view however the balcony at Majestic View was nice. We stayed off season and on a weekend. Our room was half cleaned on our Saturday stay. Overall cleanliness was very good but the service while we stayed was not impressive. The bathtub was annoyingly narrow and shallow. After strenuous hiking a hot soak would have been nice. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent; we did not eat dinner there. Next time I will stay in town closer to the park for a little less $$.

Views are incredible....
Stayed here for a total of 3 nights. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the views out of our balcony were ah-mazing!! We havent eaten at the restaurant yet, so no comment there. the only downside: the room was suppose to be 2 queen size beds. There is no way in haites that these are queens. no,way.never.

Dont get the pancakes at Switchback. Pioneer is pretty good for breakfast. The skillet wasnt that great, but the omlet was done well. Parallel 88 was GREAT for thanksgiving dinner and we are going back tonight for the full menu. If you can look past the hostess with the dreads and the unkept look, the rest of the staff is professional and take good care of you.

A true "lodge" - well worth the visit
We throughly enjoyed our experience at this hotel. It is a little outside Springdale, but it doesn't matter as there is everything necessary to hand. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, and every room has a terrace with fantastic mountain views. Breakfast is only served during weekends in the winter months, but there are several diners nearby.

The hotel dining room was superb - in fact, the best meal I had during this particular ten day trip. But the dining room is only open for new diners until 8PM, so plan to eat quite early.

MAJESTIC VIEW LODGE WAS PERFECT!
This was just a great lodging experience--it looked wonderful on website and was even BETTER. Great staff, perfect location, large/wonderful rooms with welcomed amentities. Make time to spend on the balcony with your coffee and binoculars! Zion is just down the street and Bryce is a reasonable distance. N Rim Grand Canyon is only 2.5 hours away, but I rec moving closer for that trip--Grand Canyon Lodge is great-keep checking for cancellations if you can't find rooms right away-they have frequent late availability I would go back to Majestic View and recommend it without reservation!

Truly Majestic
The Majestic View Lodge was truly majestic. The view was absolutely wonderful and we loved the beautifully decorated room. The staff was very friendly and an excellent source for local restaurants and park activities. The on site brewery was an added plus. Loved their Springdale Amber Ale. A great place to stay.
