Great place in Zion

This was a great place to stay for the two nights we were in Zion. The view was beautiful, although I think most of the hotels in Zion must have amazing views. The room was comfortable. There was a table, fridge, coffee machine and patio. Couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful Place!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was wonderful, so clean and so comfortable and to wake up to see those beautiful mountains, it was an absolute pleasure. I would definitely love to come back to stay here for my next visit to Zion national Park.

Visit to Zion

The hotel parking and driveway areas are too dark. Its hotel sign was not well lighted and poorly displayed. It was difficult to find the hotel in the evening. The room is uniquely decorated but quite small with poor sound insulation. Good location with views of the mountains near Zion but way out of the town center. Restaurant food especially the breakfast was overpriced though with friendly services.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

The dining and hotels at Zion are overpriced. Suggest to stay at St. George for overnight and drive to Zion National Park in the early morning.

Gorgeous scenery, perfect location

Overall great experience. The only reason I give the staff 3 stars is the difference between morning and evening staff. The morning staff were very helpful and seemed happy to be there. The evening staff seemed annoying and a little snippy (could've just been a bad day, I suppose). On the very edge of town, so you're near everything, but still have a feeling of solitude. Best part is each room has its own private patio. Will plan to stay more than one night next time.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

Take the town shuttle to the park. It's not worth the hassle of fighting over parking in the park itself and is only a 10 minute ride. Drivers are friendly and knowledgeable about the town.

Wonderful hotel

We had a great three day stay at the Majestic View Lodge. Hotel is a beautiful log structure situated in the Zion Valley on the outskirts of Springdale. The king suite that we had was a nice respite after full days of hiking in Zion. Comfortable bed, small seating area, very clean bathroom and a nice deck. Hot tub was perfect for soothing our aching legs! Only drawback for some people might be the location, which is not really walking distance from the town amenities (maybe15 minutes walk). It is just a quick 1 mile drove from town or you can take the shuttle which stops right in front of the hotel.

Great location

Hotel was nice. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are not bad but a lot is missing. No q-tips no shower cap, and some other minor things usually all hotels offer. Hotel decoration is made of wood, strange but nice. It has a museum of wild animals that is a must see. The restaurant at the hotel is not great but is very expensive. Overall I rated 3 out of 5

Lovely hotel near Zion Park

A terrific setting at the western end of Springdale, close to Zion National Park. A large, beautiful, clean room with a small porch for stargazing. And the views truly are majestic!

A great restaurant on the other end of Springdale is the Spotted Dog Café. we had a terrific meal which would hold its own with most quality restaurants in urban areas around the country.Mr
