Great room, just wish it was the one we booked.
The hotel and staff were just fine; I have no complaints about that. What bugs me is that I had originally booked a room at the Lodge at Snowbird and when we arrived they said I had booked at the Cliff Lodge. Since it was Oktoberfest, the Lodge at Snowbird was all sold out so we had no option but to stay at the Cliff. This would have been okay if I didn't have family staying at the other hotel. The walk to our hotel from theirs was uphill and inconvenient, especially considering we had to push a stroller with a toddler. We ended up not spending as much time with our family because of this and it put a damper on the whole evening. I wish that I could have been informed of the change before we arrived.

Excellent stay
Hotel staff was extremely accommodating after airline lost my luggage with most of my ski clothes. They loaned me a ski jacket and ski pants for as long as I needed them. Room was large and comfortable. Not much else to do in Snowbird except ski, which is why you go there. Limited dining options, but enough variety to keep you from getting bored too much.

Drive into SLC for Mormon tabernacle practicing on Thursday evenings. Than go eat at Tucci's Italian restaurant. This is the best Italian dining ever. If you're lucky, you'll get Papa Tucci himself!

Beautiful Setting Can't Compensate
Parking is an absolute nightmare. Valet missing in action. Room was extremely noisy, from the pool below to the knuckleheads next door. It was like being a part of their conversation. A floor full of rooms and they put two occupied rooms side by side. Gorgeous views were the only plus.

Summer majic in the mountains!
We had one day to play before our trade show in Salt Lake City. The Lodge at Snowbird is just 45 minutes from downtown, and a world away. Went for an awesome hike up at Alta, followed by the best steak dinner at the STEAK PIT, located in the base lodge of Snowbird. So peaceful sleeping with the glass doors wide open, listening to the stream and enjoying the cool mountain air. No need for the hum of an air conditioner here!

Excellent
We spent 5 nights at the lodge and were very pleased. Location was the best - 1 minute from Snowbird Center. Staff was very helpful, hotel was clean and cozy. Outside hot tub was priceless after whole day snowboarding. Free wine tasting before we left added to overall good experience at the lodge.

Great Place for the bucks
This is a great place for the bucks. It's not a 5 star and don't expect it to be. The staff was great. I got there early and they found a place for me. No problem in staying past checkout either. I stayed in a studio with a very well equipped kitchen and queen bed. The workout out room was small but sufficient.
