Utah Ski Vacation
Hotel was great for our purposes. My son and I traveled to Utah for a week of skiing. Never been out West skiing and experience was awesome. Hotel provided what we needed. Great breakfast every morning to fill us up for the slopes; daily housekeeping with clean towels and made bed; pool and jacuzzi to relax in after long day of skiing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Helpful hint - if skiing in Utah, make certain to rent a vehicle with AWD. Snow comes in fast and heavy and trips up the mountain not possible in vehicles with only front wheel drive.

Snowbird Mountain is a must for skiers who are advanced. Over 11,000 feet elevation causes huge winter storms on mountain providing tons of powder !!

weekend trip to SLC
All was pleasant, but the hotel and room just seemed dated - clean, but old carpet/wallpaper/furnishings.

The Mayan restaurant was really fun for the kids - they have a cliff diver show every 30 mins in the middle of the restaurant.

Great Place to Stay
Great money saving packages. Location is fantastic, post office just across the street and a major shopping mall with grocery stores 3 blocks away. Easy to maximize the room kitchen. Access to ski areas very convenient and especially easy to Snowbird & Alta. Excellent food service withjinwalking distance. Directions from Airport take you past a business office area & the consumer friendly features are not noticeable. Parking is excellent and can accomodate large SUV's

Lots of facilities availablein a short to long walking distance but they are not obvious due to the business location of the hotel beside the new Sandy government office building.

Very nice experience !
My son goes to the school in SLC, I had a perent-teacher conference. Maybe upgrade the TV'S. This is my 5th time going to SLC... so far the best experience with the hotel, fligh and car rental.

Predictable Marriott Experience
Hotel was located in Sandy city center. It was clean and smoke free. No concerns with rooms or staff. Lots of close restaurants. Good free breakfast bar and nice lounge area for happy hours or to watch a sporting event, etc.
