attended a conference fo work. Hotel had an odd smell, mix between a newly fresher painted room to a musky closed up room. Location was a bit far from h conference center and airport.

Good stop for a business trip
The Marriott Courtyard was easy to find and the staff were great. Found the room clean when I arrived, but it was not fully cleaned after my first nite, pretty large and appropriately organized for business use (free wifi/hard wire for internet). Small fitness center was fine for me (treadmill) and the hotel restaurant was perfect for a quick breakfast.

"Conveniently located"
Very clean, friendly staff, reasonable rate, and a great location. Upon checking in, I requested a mountain view and the receptionist gladly accommodated. I would highly recommend this hotel to colleagues traveling to the Salt Lake City area.

Nice value for the money
The hotel was very clean. The staff was helpful and courteous. The lobby was very nice and the rooms were well appointed. We definitely used the fitness room, also.

Pleasant stay, but
Overall, pleasant stay and met our needs in terms of location. But... even with 'smoke-free' policy, the room had the smell of smoke which took a while to get used to. Hotel could not supply us with a room/air freshener. Mattress and pillows did not provide adequate support that one would expect.

Full Service
Loved the coffee in the lobby, easy on and off elevator, computer and printer for checking in and printing out boarding passes. Close to South Towne Mall and other shopping. Close to on and off I-15 interstate. Friendly and outgoing staff. The hotel is a little older with dated colors but other than that, this was a nice stay for us.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are lots of shopping areas close to the hotel and within walking distance. Also, lots of restaurants. Easy on and off to I-15. Perfect if you are needing a hotel in the Sandy (south of Salt Lake City) area, which we were.

1st time stay at this hotel name
Stayed there when we went to a snowboard compitition, The beds were great very comfortable. room was very nice and clean, freeway was close by, but the noise from it was bearable. was dissapointed that they did not offer a continental breakfast, and the food at the food court was about the same as if I would go to a restaurant. Coffee was good. Front desk staff was fantastic i was very impressed but will stay at holiday inn express next time. SORRY

Great hotel!
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Snowbird and Alta...only 30 minutes away. There were affordable breakfast options at the small cafe in the lobby. We were able to watch the morning news in our own personal booth while we at breakfast. There was a ski rental shop right behind the hotel. Great views from the 4th floor too! If your plan is to ski Solitude, Brighton, or any of the Park City resorts, stay further north towards Salt Lake.

Short drive from hotel
Most of the good places to eat & drink (Porcupine Pub, Hoppers Grill, Squatters) were all in Salt Lake so we did have to drive 20 minutes to get to these places. Not much in the way of goods eats in Sandy. Lots of chains in Sandy if you like that sort of thing.
