It was what I expected for $40 / night. Breakfast was ok. The shower leaks and the carpet felt a bit dirty, but it other than that, it was fine

Disgusting
Had to change rooms. First one, carpet was wet and roomed smelled of mildew so bad we could hardly sleep. Had arrived late, so changed early the next morning. Next room smelled of booze and cigarettes. It was a non smoking room. Had to buy a candle and spray to alleviate the smell. We were hasseled by the cleaning attendant as we checked out. This interaction really rounded out our horrible experience.

One nighter
The location was great! Not far from downtown. It was a good night rest. Our room, however, did not have a frig, microwave, or alarm clock, which was kind of a bummer, but ok for just the one night.

Uncomfortable
Asked for handicapped room; didn't get it. Very old fixtures/counters, chairs etc. Wet carpet coming out of bathroom...gross! No clock. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever TRIED to sleep on. Overall not impressed.

Decent but not super special
The staff was pretty friendly and left me alone which was what I wanted. The room was fairly clean. The only problem with the room was that I took a bath at one point and whatever adhesive was in the tub to keep the non-slip mat down started coming up in gooey strips. So that was gross. It was within walking distance to the TRAX station/bus stops so if I wanted to go farther than a few blocks I didn't have to walk the whole way. The biggest problem I had was the pool was closed for repairs and there was no mention of that. Not on the website, not at the front desk, and the staff didn't even say anything about it until I questioned them. However the night clerk Brad sent me over to the Comfort Inn to use THEIR hot tub, so that was super-cool of him. Oh, and the breakfast was pretty awesome. I was expecting like donuts and danishes and coffee. But they had biscuits and gravy and waffles, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bagels. I would have liked, though, to have other fruit options than just canned peaches dumped into a chafing dish.

Clean comfortable room at a great price
Except for changing towels after we hung them up on the bar (they said they wouldn't), they changed the towels.... we don't like waste of resources! Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable and quiet.
