Great Location!
I was in SLC to visit a friend in Holladay, and this was a perfect location, and also allowed us to get quickly up towards the ski areas for recreation and hiking. For extended stays this is great because of the suites being equipped with everything you need to eat in.

Good clean rooms with great service
This is my 3rd stay at this establishment. The breakfast is good and service very good. Rooms are clean. I was here for business, but would definitely stay here for a ski vacation.

Good Value
The room was clean, spacious. The kids liked the three TVs, so everyone could watch their own show. By utilizing the kitchen, we saved some money, eating in a couple of times. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast - the food was good and there was a good variety. It was further then I thought it would be from downtown Salt Lake City, about 20 min.

Not what I expected of the marriot
The staff was very good but the room I stayed in was not good. The phone did not work in the seating area and the room smelled. I did not complain as I was on there for the night and I am nto confrontational by nature. I have stayed in marriot may times but this is the worst experience.

Great family location and price
We arrived late in the night, about 9:30 p.m. and we were greeted with the best smile from Ms. Ruiz, I believe. Breakfast every morning was all I could ask for and more; even my 13 year did not complain! I needed an extra blanket for my son, and my the time we got back from our outing, the sofa bed had been laid out for the night with the extra blanket. The room was equiped with all you need, full fridge, the kitchem was loaded. From our location, we went to the Family Library in Salt Lake City, in order to do some reasearch on family genealogy. What a fantactic place. We arrived by 10:00 a.m., and didn't leave till 5:30 p.m., becasue we were hungry. You would need at least a week, the information is so vast. We also went to Park City, Big Cottonwood trail, and all the stops in between, what a sieght to see. If you're into out door activites, then this is the place to vacation. And this Residence Inn was only 15 minutes away from the airport. The airport was very clean and well organized also. We would with out a doubt, come back to this Residence Inn Cottonwood.

If at all possible, park in the public parking lots that are around town (Salt Lake City), the are very inexpensive and you can park for the whold day.
