Road Trip
jazzie0789 Aug 19, 2009
My family stayed at the hotel because we wanted to visit the Great Salt Lake and this location was near SLC Airport. I felt ... this location would give me access to restaurants and shopping. On my way to the room, I noticed an odor as if something was wet but wasn't dried properly, but I didn't think anything about it until I got to the room. The room smelled so bad that I got sick. I had my husband to open the window and almost checked out, but figured we would not be in the room the second day. In regards to restaurants, the only accessible restaurant was the hotel because everything closed early. I will not be visiting the hotel again.

Not a 3 star
Ollie Aug 4, 2009
Carpets in lobby and room were not clean. Air conditioner in window so old the labels were all rubbed off. Could not tell how ... to turn on cool vs heat. Overstuffed foam pillows gave me a neck ache. Generally, a dingy hotel. Not a 3 star in my estimation.

Wow, can it be any worse?
Dad of Grad May 10, 2009
One of the worst hotels i've ever stayed in. dirty, rooms stunk of cigarettes, occupants above us were up all night stomping ... around, window was broken and wouldn't open, jacuzzi and pool were under construction, each night got inter-hotel phone call in middle of night waking us up, no continental breakfast. although the food in the itty bitty restaraunt was less than desireable - it was very inexpensive, including the alcoholic drinks in the sad bar.

Well, there weren't many options for food outside the hotel. There weren't many options for public transportation either. The ... staff had no idea about the bus system. And the bus didn't run by the hotel on Sunday. Aside from that, the hotel is a fine place as long as you have a car.

Convenient and Quiet

We chose this hotel for the convenience of being close to the airport since we were only staying a SHORT TIME IN sALT lAKE ... cITY. tHE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. They did not have an elevator so we had to walk up a small flight of stairs with our suitcases. The resaurant suited our needs and was very friendly aand reasonable. Coffee was available in lobby for free-24hrs. All in all a good experience!

The Ramada Salt Lake City Airport's price was reasonable, and it is close to the SLC airport and I-80. They have reasonable ... deals for park and ride and offer extended stay rates. But there were a few problems. In the middle of the night there was a loud noise and the walls of my room rattled for several minutes straight. Room service was available for reasonable prices, but the food quality was rather low, and the only other restaurants in the area are a Subway and other motel restaurants that I didn't find appealing.

When we arrived at the Ramada Salt Lake city airport we were greeted with friendly staff. Staff did supply a roll a away bed ... with a mattress that was very uncomfortable for the first night. We were placed in a 2 queen bed room with no frig or micro. The frig was very important for meds and food to stay cold while busy at our Convention for three days.

My review of Ramada Salt Lake City Airport
Arielle Jul 31, 2008
The airport is really close to the hotel. They have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. The only time it is not ... at the airport is from 10:30 pm to 5 or 6am (you have to make an appointment if it is in between those times). If I ever had to stay in Salt Lake City by the airport again I would stay at the Ramada.

Dixie Jul 30, 2008
Overall the hotel was okay, unfortunately we were in a smoking room, and even the smoker, could not stand the odor when we ... entered the room,we had to open the window, and burn a very scented candle to be able to stay in the room. I realize that a smoking room is not going to have the best aroma, however, this is one of the worst I have encountered. I would suggest that the washing of the bedspreads and blankets, as well as the carpet cleaning be on a rotation, that is more often than a non smoking room, because of the odor that will accumulate in these rooms. The hotel room was clean and neat, and easy to access from the freeway. I would probably stay there again, but would request a room that was non smoking and ask the smoker to go outside to smoke.

David Mar 30, 2008
The Ramada Salt Lake City Airport was an acceptable hotel, the room was comfortable enough and the beds were nice. The ... bathroom was a nice size and everything worked. The drapes were in need of some repairs, however. Also, the information that I had indicated that there was an indoor pool, but the pool area was outside which meant we couldn't use it in March, so keep that in mind.

Yvonne Mar 15, 2008
This was our first time to stay there and it was very enjoyable . We got in, in the evening and the restaurant was still ... open, we got some very resonible priced food and went to their lounge which was small but really nice. I would for sure stay there again and recomend it to my friends which I have done already. If you have a flight out from Salt Lake it is right on the way to the airport and not too far from the city, But I liked the fact it was on the outskirts.

My review of Ramada Salt Lake City Airport
Tyson Mar 13, 2008
The room was large and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. I slept through the night without getting up once. The ... bathroom was very clean and had the shampoo, conditioner and soap in adequate amounts for two people. The complimentary coffee and tea were a delight. Restaurant facilities and food were very good. Portions were generous to more than a person could eat. Service there was very good and they checked on you frequently to ensure that your needs were met. Until we learned the area, access was a little confusing.

Comfortable, Clean and close to the airport
Monty Mar 3, 2008
The SLC Airport Ramada is a nice hotel who's location near the Airport is very convienent. Their restaraunt does not open on ... Sunday until somewhere around 5PM which caused me to have to go elsewhere for my lunch on arrival. However the front desk staff were friendly and offered several alternative locations for me. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and all the electronics worked well, including the wireless internet access. I did not use the fitness center or the business center, but did see that they existed.
