Ramadas Best of 2010 Hotel Award Winner. For all the skiers, we are just 20-27 miles from some of the most highly regarded ski resorts in the country. Why pay the resort costs of Park City when we are just 30 minutes away from the world class resorts like Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, Deer Valley, Park City Ski Resort and the Canyons Ski Resort. Not to forget Salt Lake hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. The Ramada Limited Salt Lake City is located at the junction of Interstate 80 and Interstate 15 on State Street in South Salt Lake. Just a short 15 freeway minutes away from SLC International Airport. With easy highway access the Ramada is perfectly situated for travelers coming to and through the Salt Lake area. We are just minutes from downtown Salt Lake City with attractions like LDS Temple Square, Energy Solutions Arena - Home of the Utah Jazz, Getaway Shopping Mall, Hogle Zoo, Salt Palace Convention Center and Utah State Capitol. It is easy to get to many other attractions just outside of the city as Park City or Antelope Island State Park where you can learn about and actually swim the Great Salt Lake. There is Kennecott/Bingham Copper Mine, the largest man-made excavation on earth. There is indoor skydiving, rock climbing and surfing at Ogden Junction just 30-40 minutes north. Plenty to see for the sports enthusiasts such as biking/hiking trails, Salt Lake Bees- our minor league baseball team, MLS soccer team Real at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah Jazz basketball, Grizzlies minor league hockey at the E Center in West Valley, Miller Motor Speedway in Toole and University of Utah football games at Rice Eccles Stadium. ________________________________________________________________________ OUR CAR RENTAL PACKAGE IS NOW AVAILABLE.....Call us direct for information and to reserve your package...801-486-2400 ________________________________________________________________________ We have a great hotel that has been newly renovated in the summ

Not a gem at all

Dirty room. There was hair in the shower and when I lifted the lid on the toilet, a big wad of black hair. Gross. Floors were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and the five pillows? Wish I had brought one of my own. Private complaint of my own: I am a night time water drinker. I like lots of water at night. The cups (paper-not even glass) here were very inadequate...many trips to the sink for more water.

Fine if you need a cheap place to stay

The staff was very nice. The hotel overall was pretty clean, but the bathtub floor looked dirty. My room smelled like stale smoke, but my co-workers' rooms didn't. On the plus side, they do offer free wi-fi in the room and free continental breakfast. If you're traveling on a budget, its a fine place to stay.

Really pleasant experience

I came to Salt Lake City for an internship orientation that was going to be located across the street from the hotel at the Granite Education Center (June 7th - 10th). When I called the hotel to schedule the shuttle to pick me up from the airport, the man was super nice and really helpful. The shuttle service was great, I was pleased with the size of the room, the continental breakfast was awesome (pancakes, cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt, milk, and fruit), free wi-fi and a computer to use in the lobby (with printer). The hotel employees (both day and night shift) really went above and beyond to help out all the interns that were staying there that week.

Great stay !

I booked this through [...] as part of a skiing weekend package and was very happy with the accomodations at the hotel. It was clean and everything worked perfect. the bathroom was very clean with very good water pressure and hot water on demand. This is a fantastic hotel for the money. The staff held me upgread at no charge to a double instead of a single bed room. Very happy! The skiing was great!

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are here to ski for more than one day buy a salt lake super pass which you can customize to how you want to use it. You can go to one of 4 different resorts all for the same price. Buy your rental equipment at canyon sports downtown and save more money! They are fantastic.

Excellent value

The room was large and clean, the breakfast had many items from which to choose and the items were restocked frequently. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was just great after a hard day of skiing.

Clean and Friendly

The Ramada Limited has clean comfortable rooms. I have stayed at this location multiple times and found the staff very friendly. I travel frequently and feel the rate is a little high for this property. It should be $10-$20 less, based upon my own experience staying at other hotels in the area.
