The hotle is undergoing renovation in the lobby. It was hard to find your way to the "lobby" ot check in because the lobby was all torn up. We were given one of the recently renovated rooms. It smelled a little of fresh paint, but it was comfortable and clean. We loved the location. I don't know if I will book this hotel again after the price goes up. It was ok for this price but not worth the increase when they get the renovations done. Parking is also extra, 12.00 dollars.

Possibility

The hotel was still being renovated which was not disclosed on the web site. The new room was really nice but waking to hammering was a big disappointment.

Skiing hotel

We didn't expect the hotel to be totally under renovation during our stay but aesthetics aren't high on our list of priorities so it didn't matter that the lobby and corridors were all torn up. The UTA ski bus picked us up and dropped us off right in front of the Radisson every day...made for a very comfortable day of just having to think about skiing and not the drive. Easy to walk to restaurants, movies, etc...and the UTA bus/Trax system makes SLC one of the easiest to get around. I'd recommend the Radisson....especially the wonderful whirlpool we used each night to ease aching muscles!

Know thy neighbors

A pretty average hotel except for the paper thin walls. Or maybe they are not particularly thin, but they have no sound insulation. And when your next room neighbors are two chatty girls who wake up very early... well, not good. Unless you are terribly interested on who dated who and hearing loud "oh my gosh!!!" every thirty seconds.

Perfect for quick business trip

I had to perform a show at the Complex, but this location of the Radisson was close to so much stuff to do in the city and to where I needed to perform. The view was great as well. All-around good experience.

Nightlife tip: Long walk from hotel

The Twilight Lounge is a fun dive that still has a lot of patrons. some are a lil overboard with their hipster douchiness, but for the most part everyone is cool and it's a real fun time.

Radisson relief

I bought a package deal through Orbitz for flight and hotel for a last-minute business trip. The price was so reasonable I figured the hotel would be a dump, but as I only needed a couple hours of sleep between meetings, I was willing to try it. Turns out the hotel was terrific - looked good, close to every place I needed to be, clean, friendly & helpful front-desk staff. Only drawback was the tram (Uta-Trax) stopping in front of the hotel every 15 minutes - even from the 12th floor I could hear it at night and early morning when it started its run. The housekeeping staff also need some lessons on manners - I was nearly run over by a maid and laundry cart in the main elevators one morning - I'm sure there's a service elevator for that!

Friendly

Staff was very friendly, My husband was unable to operate the shower nossel and was embarrassed that he had to call maintance for assistance, The maintance man was very pleasant and helpful. I am sure he got a good laugh as did we. On the down side, The Doorman was no where to be found when we needed our vehicle parked. We paid $15 for this service and Valet parking GATE/GARAGE attendent (who sits in booth and operates the garage entry bar) was TOO busy talking on his cell phone to assist my husband. So we paid to park our own vehicle. Once the Doorman re- appeared he was very pleasent. Location was ideal, walking distance to concert venue, dining and shopping. We will return and will recommend to friends.

Sleep number beds

This hotel has sleep number beds. I had never tried them before and i will never do it again. They are glorified air matresses and they are uncomfortable. My wife and i had a really bad night. Other than that it was good, but i do not think i will stay here again because of thos beds.
