Pleasantly surprised

Upon Arrival and entry to the lobby to check in, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. The onsite restaurant had good food and the bar on site was nice as well. Very conveniently located next to the energy solutions center where the Jazz play and easily walking distance. The Room was immaculate and comfortable, the hot tub was actually hot and pool was nice, exercise facility had something for everyone. Self parking option as well as valet. I will definitely consider this motel on my next trip to Salt Lake.

The Union Station Mall, or Gateway Mall, is a very cool outdoor mall with a great steak house. Very close to Motel. Just walk around the Energy Solutions Center or make the short drive.

Nothing special - parking sucked!

There was nothing special about this hotel. The only good part about it was that it was close to Temple Square. I was disappointed in how much they charged to park at the hotel per day, and when the staff told me there would be a parking charge they led me to believe that it was one fee for the entire stay not every single day.

Okay stay

The Select Number bed was horrible! It kept going flat the first night, so we had to keep it on the max number the second. Worst bed we've ever had at any motel. Plus they charge for parking! What a ripoff!

The Trax (light rail) Train is free anywhere downtown. It's a great value and you can get around to any of the shopping centers or restaurants in the Salt Lake Area.

disappointed

Jacuzzi wasn't working, one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. Maids tried to come in every morning at 8:30 am to clean the room, WAY too early in my opinion. Anytime we called for room service- food, toothpaste, razors. Etc..... We had to call a second time because they took so long. Didn't let it ruin our time in SLC but definitely disappointed and won't be staying there ever again.

great getaway, shopping.

very beautuful place, rooms were amazing and very clean. very new. loved the area and all the shopping at the Gateway just down the street. the only thing that was bad was the food and bar at this hotel, prices to high and the food not real good for the price you have to pay. i will definitaly go back there. lots of places to eat near by.
