Would recommend Sun, Nov 1, 2015
the hotel is clean and in a good location , it is opposite squatters brewery pub which is highly recommended . the breakfast was nice and there is free tea and coffee available in the lobby . it is just undergoing a renovation to its lifts and the outside of the building . the beds are very comfortable with memory foam mattresses to ensure a good nights sleep

Check out

Would recommend Tue, Oct 27, 2015
My overall stay was excellent. However, I feel that the gentleman checking me out could have been friendlier. He seemed to be friendly with others until it was my turn to check out. I felt it was quite inconsiderate and rude of him to feel he could be so kind to others then turn around as if I was a bother. My friend who also checked out right before me got the same attitude and greeting. I'm not sure what caused him to change attitude, hence all my friend and I did was say, we would like to check out from room such and such. Other than that my stay was fabulous.

Great afordable business stay

Would recommend Tue, Oct 6, 2015
I needed a centrally located place to stay for a couple of nights while taking care of some business in downtown Salt Lake. I was curious about the Peery because I grew up in Salt Lake and I knew the old building well. I was happy to see it had been renovated. On both scores my experience surpassed expectations. the building and rooms have been tastefully renovated and updated. If you allow for the fact that the Peery was built in the early 20th C. and so the rooms are a little smaller than you might find in the Marriott up the street, you'll find a comparable level of comfort, service and atmosphere. the complementary breakfast was a real pleasant surprise - a full warm eggs and bacon or bagel and fruit if you prefer, breakfast rather than the usual danish and coffee. The location is a real plus too, in a new entertainment district with clubs, bars and a great micro brew in the same block. There is also plenty of reasonable parking adjacent. I'll stay there again any time I'm in Salt Lake City.

Great Honeymoon!

Would recommend Sun, Sep 6, 2015
We're from Michigan and weren't sure about hotels in the hot town of Salt Lake. But we absolutely fell in love with the characteristics of the hotel and the friendly staff. We plan on making another trip out there and if the Peery is available we'll book it. Its location was also amazing, we walked pretty much everywhere in Salt Lake. I highly recommend staying here.

Cute boutique hotel

Would recommend Wed, Aug 26, 2015
But the parking sucked, expensive. The big brand names have pools, and if your visiting SLC, you want a pool. And the parking at the other hotels is free. Worth a visit if you avoid the big brands

Historic Hotel

Would recommend Mon, Aug 3, 2015
Down town location great for walking around to local restaurants, walked to farmers market in the morning. Old historic hotel with charm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet and tv didn't work well...perhaps they just don't belong in a hotel built in 1910! Second time we have stayed.

Business trip

Would recommend Wed, Jul 15, 2015
This is a boutique hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. I had a small quaint room at the end of the hall that was perfect for my needs. I wouldn't call it is luxury hotel but it is historic, charming and has tons of character. Another great thing about the hotel is its location. The Peery is close to the TRAX lines and many great restaurants and shopping plazas. SLC is safe and walkable and this hotel puts you in the perfect location for all kinds of activities downtown. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs.

great price, lovely historic hotel

Would recommend Sun, May 17, 2015
Fantastic location, very clean rooms, helpful staff, beautiful antique-filled lobby. We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was not good, rooms (though clean and comfortable) were tiny, and parking was an extra charge--those are my only complaints, and they're not that big a deal especially when you consider the price. I would definitely stay here again!
