Not worth 100$ a night

I got a visitor at 8:30 pm, someone assigned to my room by mistake. They tried to enter my room twice in the span of 15 minutes. I called the front desk no answer, then I had to go down to the front desk and find out they made a mistake. There was no coffee pot, fridge, or microwave in the room. Continental Breakfast was not that great, no fresh fruit. I will not stay there again. Not worth 110$ a night.

Peery Hotel stay

The hotel was very good. The rooms were small but that's to be expected in an older hotel. Convenient location. I would stay there again.

Great beds

Older style rooms but nice. The most comfortable bed I've ever encountered in a hotel. I slept better than at home. A very charming place and great location downtown convenient to walking.

Peery Hotel - downtown SLC

This is a cool, older hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The location is fantastic. One block in any direction from great restaurants and microbrew pubs. It's also less that two blocks from the Trax train system that can pretty much get you anywhere in the valley, including the airport.

Historic hotel

The guest at the Peery Hotel is welcomed into a large, comfortable, historic lobby with a grand staircase and blazing fireplace. Fresh water and coffee are provided in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful, eager to please. The decorations are all Old Style Western. The room was comfortable and quiet. One small complaint would be the size of the bathroom. I had to squeeze between the sink and the toilet to reach the shower. But that's a minor inconvenience. They promise that a pub will soon open off the lobby, so it will only get better!

definitely old-world

The hotel smelled musty when I entered the front door. the elevator was broken and there was not Bell Service at the time of my check in. I am recovering from a surgery and have one arm in a sling and I had to lift my luggage up three flights of stairs to get to my room. the bed and bedding was very comfortable. The towels felt like sand paper. The winsow appeared as if it had not been washed in several years leaving me to keep the shade drawn. There were no outlets to plug my phone charger, except for sink, which was too far away to hear alarm in the morning. The morning coffee service in the lobby was not well maintained; the creamer empty, no lids for travel from hotel.

Historic hotel, conveniently located

A boutique small hotel with a historic preservation theme and authentic furnishings in a very convenient downtown location. Christopher's steakhouse, in the hotel, is excellent. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel staff was professional and accommodating.

Perfect Place To Stay

The valet parking attendant when I arrived set the tone for a warm, friendly service oriented staff that couldn't be more courteous or helpful. The hotel it self is charming, spotless and very comfortable. The room although small was beautifully decorated, very clean and the bed linens luxurious and inviting. The restaurant was a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing with a drink and good food. For a more casual meal, the Macaroni Grill just next door has a great menu and a friendly staff. This is a hotel I would recommend to everyone going to Salt Lake City .

Very Nice

I went to SLC on vacation and took other writers advice and stayed here. The experience was very good. This is an old hotel and european modeled so the room are on the small side. The bathroom was definately too small with the vanity on the outside in the room. Other than that small grievance the room was comfortable and very clean. I had a classic single which had a king size bed which took up most of the room, it was perfect for 1 person but with two could get a little crowded. The staff was very young (I don't think anyone was over 25) but very helpful and very friendly. For those who don't like noise be careful on which side your room is on, if you face the front it could get a little noisy from the weekend crowd of bar hoppers. It is close to everything downtown and there are plenty of restaurants nearby with two being in the hotel(Christopher's which is expensive, or Marcaroni Grill). Overall this was a very pleasing stay and I would stay there again.
