Business trip

This is a boutique hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. I had a small quaint room at the end of the hall that was perfect for my needs. I wouldn't call it is luxury hotel but it is historic, charming and has tons of character. Another great thing about the hotel is its location. The Peery is close to the TRAX lines and many great restaurants and shopping plazas. SLC is safe and walkable and this hotel puts you in the perfect location for all kinds of activities downtown. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs.

great price, lovely historic hotel

Fantastic location, very clean rooms, helpful staff, beautiful antique-filled lobby. We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was not good, rooms (though clean and comfortable) were tiny, and parking was an extra charge--those are my only complaints, and they're not that big a deal especially when you consider the price. I would definitely stay here again!

Not worth 100$ a night

I got a visitor at 8:30 pm, someone assigned to my room by mistake. They tried to enter my room twice in the span of 15 minutes. I called the front desk no answer, then I had to go down to the front desk and find out they made a mistake. There was no coffee pot, fridge, or microwave in the room. Continental Breakfast was not that great, no fresh fruit. I will not stay there again. Not worth 110$ a night.

Peery Hotel stay

The hotel was very good. The rooms were small but that's to be expected in an older hotel. Convenient location. I would stay there again.

Terrible service

One agent available to check people in, so I waited for 30 minutes to talk to someone before they could tell me that they had cancelled my reservation and had no rooms available!

A change of pace in SLC

This a beautifully refurbished old hotel in a great location. I had the smallest of the rooms (classic queen) which was more than adequate for one person. The room was comfortable and clean but a bit quirky. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Breakfast was adequate. (The breakfast room would be beautiful with a bit of refurbishing.) A luxury hotel this is not but is a great value for the price. And The Peery is a much cooler place than the Courtyard.

Great beds

Older style rooms but nice. The most comfortable bed I've ever encountered in a hotel. I slept better than at home. A very charming place and great location downtown convenient to walking.
