Bad neighborhood getaway

The rooms are so small and tiny you can hardly move. the beds and pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Also, we had to pay for the internet, I have never had to do that before. I won,t be staying there again. Way too expensive for what you get. And last, It,s not in a very good area of SLC.

Spiffy

Not bad for a motel 6. The guy at the front desk called to make sure we had everything we needed. Lots of construction going on outside but there wasn't any noice at night. Good value for the price I paid.

The Do Leave The Light On For You

Unfortunately, their window shades don't do much to block that light from keeping you awake in the night. The only thing that I found good was that their beds were more comforting than other's I've had recently. Their staff was hard to understand as their divided after hours window had no way to hear them (no speaker, etc). There some sort of liquid covering the bathroom floor and the shower had not been cleaned. There was no complimentary breakfast as the amenities had stated that there was. The WiFi isn't free and costs more than I'd be willing to pay for a one day usage and the price was terrible compared to others in the region. I would not recommend the place to anyone except as a last resort.

Not that great

The swimming pool was closed for the season the first week of August! The room had a "musty" smell to it and the carpet needed cleaning.

you get what you pay for

The staff were kind enough. The only available room was a smoking room and it was rather disgusting with burn marks throughout and a smell that we did our best to mask with candles, febreeze and pine air fresheners. Also, the pool was out of service as were the vending machines when we tried to use them. The location was convenient to the airport, downtown and the highways.

Okay for motel 6

For a motel 6, it was okay. The room was alot smaller than the pictures look. My biggest disappoint was the cleanliness of the room. The toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned in ages along with the shower. There was also an issue with bugs (gnats and misquitos), they were everywhere in the room. If your only going to be there for a night or two like we were it's not a bad, any longer than that, I'd suggest a different hotel.

Skip it, go to the next sleep cheap

Its worth skipping and paying a few extra bucks somewhere else. I checked in, ended up paying extra for the internet, even though the online booking says its included in the price, I didn't see that fine print till I arrived. So they add a few bucks if you want the internet. The pool was not open yet, and looked tiny and awful, unless they do some intensive cleaning with the pool, consider it out of order. I got to the room, it's small, smells bad, and has an ash tray with a no smoking sticker on it and its in a no smoking room, so they do a good job of encouraging people to follow their rules (sarcasm). The blanket on the bed had several burn holes in it. The TV shook every time I moved in the room. The phone was blinking for a message, but there are no directions on how to check, so I stuffed it under the bed. The sheets don't fit the bed, so if you toss and turn a bit, they will pop off and you will be checkin' out the mattress. The shower has paint or possibly mold on it, but has good water pressure. I can't recall any other details about it really. I literally only checked in did a few internet searches for local food, left, returned and passed out. Which brings me to the "Free coffee" if you have a flight in the morning, you wont be getting your coffee there cause the office doesn't open till 6:30. Until then they use the little ghetto window starting at 9pm. The best thing about the room was that the air conditioner and fan worked. It was loud, but it worked.
