Fantastic beds, great location
Great location downtown next to a lot of food and brewpubs. Beds are super comfortable. If what you want out of a hotel is a great night's rest, stay here. Decent breakfast as well.

Safe and Clean to Sleep and Shower, Not for the Disabled Traveler
I was looking for a place to stay while checking out apartments in SLC. Since I'm on a tight budget, I shopped around and found this place. PRO: It is safe and clean. I have been in chain hotels that weren't as clean as this place. No bedbugs in the bed. The bed was actually nice. The staff was great and could give travel tips if needed. (I ended up becoming friends w/ one of the staff.) They were flexible when I had a banking issue that affected my stay. CON: If you're looking for more than a place to sleep and shower, this is not the place. Their only 'accessible' room wasn't really accessible. It was the same size as the other rooms, unlike the major chains that have larger accessible rooms. The shower is a roll-in w/ grab bars, but the shower head is a fixed high one and not adjustable. It did have a bath chair. Plus, a wheelchair can not go beyond the shower. It was a tight squeeze between the bed and TV cabinet. Also, when you reserve an accessible room, to them, it means you 'prefer' one, not need one. When I checked in, they had let the prior guest stay one extra night, even though I had called in the day before to double-check my reservation. It was after the fact that I was told they would've put me in another hotel's accessible room at their expense. Overall, it's an okay place if you're an able-bodied guest needing just a safe and clean place to sleep and shower. Oh, and if you're traveling w/ someone, hope you're comfortable being physically close to that guest, as the room's pretty small.

This hotel is ripped off!
Be careful to one of their staff..if they ask you if you are a card holder, do not give your card right away, ask them first if what they gonna do with it and remember the staff name who assist you before you check in.

Reasonable and Does the Job!
O.K., so you need a reasonably priced and clean room. This hotel will do the job. Free WiFi, free breakfast and in downtown. It's 5 blocks to the Family History Library and many eateries are close by. A little traffic noise in the morning and car wash next door not too bad. Not a bad place to stay. I would stay again if needed.

BOOtique hotel
Please note :That this hotel is in a Bad area .Not good for guest walking .Also the hotel is just outside main core of the city ,so do to the fact of hotel being in a bad area.It is a cab fare to everything. Room was dark and very dirty.Old does not make it Metropolitain. There is one bright note .The hotel staff in the Lobby Area ,were very helpful .Lobby area is a bright space .Too bad that the boutique ends at the lobby .This hotel is a bootique !not boutique Hotel.

Centraly located
It's within close distance to a variety of restaraunts and mass transit stops. Did take a bit of time to get hot water up to the shower in the mornings. The mattress didn't live up to the hype. It met our needs, but didn't exceed them.

Short walk from hotel
Use the local lite rail system to get around town. Most of the major sites are within the free ride zone.

Excellent location
It was a nice little hotel. Conveniently located within walking distance of both a movie theater and Squatters Pub. The room was larger than I expected and the beds had very comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses. The only odd thing: there was only one ice machine and it was on the second floor but they do have an elevator.
