Comfortable, central hotel

We stayed in the low rise part of the building, which seemed older but well maintained. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, nice size bathroom. Overall, it was a good place to stay and fairly close to downtown. Free parking! I don't know if this is standard for a downtown hotel but we were happy for the free abundant parking on site. The pool is nice too.

Our vacation in SLC with " Little America"

Our first experience regarded poorly constructed parking. The layout was confusing and not convenient. We were in the low level section. Other than that everything was 4* or better. The cost of food was very high. A bagle and coffee was about $10.00's and main meals were averaging $20.00 or more. The physical location was excellent, being very near the TRAX low rail system on Main street. A beautiful indoor/outdoor pool and heated spa was very pleasant to return to after a busy day of touring SLC. Across the street was the America Grand hotel where cost was not a factor for the well-to-do and all facilities were available for our use. We had a great time overall-A 4*+ rating.

Good Times

Everything was very good except the carpet and chairs had stains on them. The construction trailers in the parking lot limited the amount of parking.

Nice place

Nice place except our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. We were switched to another room but this was made difficult by the front desk staff and they should have been way more accommodating at the start.

Deceiving, but nice hotel

Nice hotel... but only the garden rooms were available, so we were far away from the main part of the hotel. Decent price, clean rooms. No air flow & locked windows wasn't the best... but we propped our door open, so that was nice. Just be careful of which room you are choosing & staying in.
