Classy Hotel

I already wrote a review a couple of days ago!! Anyway, I really like this hotel. It was clean and classy. It's a little bit old but updated. The room was spacious and we really appreciated that there was a sink and vanity outside of the bathroom. My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough parking. We ended up using the valet because we couldn't find a place to park! However, it was a very busy time of year, so I'm not surprised. They shouldn't allow people who aren't staying at the hotel to use the lot during busy times.

Good location and nice hotel. Only downer was I checked in at 5:30 pm and my room was still being cleaned. Front desk offered no solution but to wait...not even a free drink voucher or apology.

Family Christmas Outing

Love staying at the Little America good value, great service. Upscale hotel on a family budget. Can't beat location - you can get on TRAX out front of hotel, however it is within a six-eight block walking distance to pretty much anything you want to do (and safe walk).

Classy hotel

Little American has long been known to be a great hotel in Salt Lake City. The lobby and restaurant area is especially nice. The room was nice and very clean and neat. There are things that remind me that it is older and has been re-decorated, but it was very classy and spacious. We enjoyed the sink and vanity outside the bathroom. The food was great and the service was responsive and quick. My only complaint is that there isn't enough parking. We wanted to park our car ourselves, but ended up using the valet because there was no where else to park. However, we were there on a very busy weekend, so that is no surprise. We got a great deal and would definitely recommend it!

Bad Trip

The room that I was given when I arrived was not what I had ordered. I was supposed to have a queen bed, the room had a double bed. There was no chair to sit on. Ther room was so small there wasn't room. The Toilet didn't work and the heat an all night. At 3 am it was 85 degrees. I had to get up and open the door and windows to try and cool the room down. To the credit of Little America when I complained strongley they put me in a room that was livable.

busy this time of year!

At his time of year downtown Salt Lake City is extremely busy. There were several holiday parties at the hotel when we arrived so parking was full. We had to park in a pay parking lot a block away then drag our bags to the room. We were compensated by a guard and received room service for our trouble. After the parking situation was figured out the staff and hotel were great. I would definitely stay again.

My wife had been away for a while with some family issues, so when she finally came home to me I decided to make a surprise out of our trip to the little America. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was spacious and luxurious, and the restaurant was pricy but well worth it!

Good for the price and location

We wanted to stay near the downtown area and for the price, this was a great deal. Light rail is near and easy to get downtown. Our room smelled musty.
