Trip to Utah

The room was small for a extended stay hotel. Need to add more parking area. Need more dishes in the room. Also we booked our tickets as a book package and we were to receive a king deluxe and when we got there they only had queen studio rooms left. this was a big disappointment as we were there for eight night in a very small room.

Location that met our needs

We flew in for a funeral and picked this hotel since we had stayed there in the past. Our last visit to Salt Lake City was in 2004 and the hotel was in much better condition at that time.

Hairs, crusties and a spider, oh my!

I realize this hotel is inteded for longer stays, but that doesn't mean our room shouldn't have been clean. Our front door was badly dented in as if someone had tried to break in with a hammer. A very frightning first impression for 3 girls staying alone. Our toilet seat had crusty drops on it, and under it when lifted. Floaties in the toilet. The kitchen counter was dirty with sticky drops and cup stains. The light switch had what looked like a dried blood stain. A gum wrapper and m n m's were on the floor. A spider on the wall and hairs in both beds. Straight and curly hairs if you get the picture. The sheets in the one bed looked wrinkled as if they hadn't been changed. At 3:00 a.m. I heard a loud noise of metal pipes or a metal roof being pounded on. That lasted about 30 minutes. I complained about none of these things. Just sucked it up and couldn't wait to check out and never return.

Great Location

GReat location, but no Pool. clean comfortable rooms.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Large shopping area short walk to the west, Large park short walk to the east. Great food location as Lone Star in the parking lot and fast food in the shopping and across the street.
