Great Staff - Poor location
The staff was terrific, however the photo of the hotel is deceiving. The hotel had semi trucks in front and was so close to the freeway, you could hear the cars. It was more of an industrial area that took away from the hotel. I felt that the rate was high considering there were many truckers and the hotel was much older than it appears in the photo.

Noisy Noise
couldnt sleep all nite. Sound like you are right beneath the interstate (which u are) and the traffic noise was awful then to top it off everytime the heater came on it woke us up since it was extremly loud. I mentioned to staff because something had to be wrong with it. The staff was very friendly and the room was about as clean as a Super 8 but near the Holiday Inn standards. Plus the room was very drafty. Will not be staying here EVER again.

We stayed the night before we flew to Las Vegas and the Sunday night we flew back to SLC . The young man at the desk was very nice and informative. He even upgraded our room to one with a whirlpool tub which was wonderful! Very nice! All was very good and we will stay there again!

We were able to eat close by. We got into town later in the evening and a 24 hour rest. was a short walk away.

Nice pool, comfy beds!
Outdoor pool was nice. The shallow end was 3'6" which was nice so that my 5 year old could "touch" the bottom; deep end was approx 7' allowing my 10 year old to "jump" in safely. :) We stayed in a King bed room w/ Hot Tub (which was actually a large jacuzzi-style bathtub). Took A LONG time (& quite loud) to fill that sucker, but was nice once filled. Room was nice, clean & modern. The Tempurpedic bed was AMAZING! We also had a roll-away bed brought in (at no additional charge) for our 2 young children & it was a good size & comfy (enough for the kids anyway!) Although located in somewhat of an industrial area, there was a convenience store gas station & a Denny's right behind it & only a few blocks away from shopping areas. Breakfast was delicious with a good array of choices from cold cereal, bagels, toast, etc to hot pancakes, sausage & gravy, cheese omelettes... This was one hotel that actually had flavored creamer for their coffee instead of just sugar & powdered creamer :)

Good location btw SLC and Miller Moto Pk
We had a very nice 4 night stay. Spouse missed elevator for handicapped people. Sure, the hotel has only two stories, but there are other Holiday Inn Express's with the same design AND an elevator.
