Great room
We stayed at the Hampton during the Christmas Hopidays and really loved our stay! The breakfast was full and the pool was the right size for my 4 young children. We would stay here again.

SLC Hampton Inn
Nice hotel. Rooms very nice. Not within walking distance to Temple Square if that's what you want - but very close if you're driving.

Nice
The only thing that would make our stay nicer would have been to have an inroom refrigerator and microwave. Our overall experiance was great.

Average Hotel

Great and convenient location to SLC Convention Center
Great staff and the reservation was handled in an expeditely manner. Also the desk clerk assisted us in getting adjoining room for our other group.

Nice, comfortable rooms
Just stayed one night; got 2 ajoining rooms which was great for the grandkids to play together. They have a great breakfast buffet with many selections. Beds were comfortable and quiet.

Tin Angel has nice food and had muscian that interacted with our grandkids.

Nice place to stay for a visit
When my friend and I first drove past the hotel without stopping, we were a little nervous as the exterior could probably use some perking up. The neighborhood seemed a little more rough as we were a little further from downtown than we thought we would be (the hazards of booking somewhere you have never been). The lobby was hotel-generic but we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was definitely a little higher than what we were expecting. The reception staff had been nice when we checked in and then they surprised us a little later by calling to check in on us. That was a first. Overall, it was a good place for the money. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying the pool and the breakfast was extensive, though we didn't stay to try any of it.

We were really hoping to be able to walk more from the hotel but it just wasn't feasible, plus the area seemed a little sketchy for that anyway.
