Great stay at the Days Inn SLC
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn SLC south. It has a great location with public transport nearby, only a few hundred feet from the doorstep (both bus and light rail). With many restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well. I used it as a base to head up the ski resorts during the week and it was perfect. Close to the bus stop, plenty of room in the room for equipment and drying room and a very comfortable bed to get a great nights rest. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was one of the best stays I have ever had at a hotel, particularly one for such great value.

The Salt Lake City ski resorts are very close and take 40 min via the nearby bus stop or even less via car.

It's a Day's Inn!
The furnishings, cleanliness and maintenance were typical for this price point. We had to request a clean blanket to replace the soiled one on the bed, otherwise the stay was fine.

Good Value
The Days Inn Salt Lake City South was a basic hotel with a reception area different from the general entrance. We arrived on a snowy evening, so there was some problem with snow being tracked into the general entrance that wasn't cleaned up quickly, but it was minor. Everything else was ok.

Nice room--dirty public areas
We just stayed here on our way to and from the airport. The room was great. Looked like it had been redone recently and was just spotless. It seemed such a contrast to the public areas. Courtesy breakfast was missing a lot of the items by the time we came down (8 am). There was waffle batter all over the place. We saw a cheerful housekeeper, but she didn't do much about the mess. There was dirt all over the stairs that should have been vacuumed. Location was not the best, but overall, because the room was so nice, we enjoyed it.

Wonderful and understanding staff
The biggest thing is the desk staff was understanding of our getting stuck in Wyoming because of a road (snow) closure by the Highway Patrol. He even stated he would make sure that [...] knew not to charge us for our first scheduled night there(Salt Lake City,Utah). The rest of the staff was always helpful and of service to us at all times. Also an excellent hotel for the money.

biggest hint I can offer is that if you get stuck by situations beyond your control..like a road closure because of weather. Call the hotel and let them know what is happening ...you could be surprised at how helpful and compassionate they can be.

Easter Break
The check in people were very nice, I had a late plane and they allowed my companion to check in. It was a very nice room, very comfortable, the breakfast was nice,the fruit was a little old. I like yogurt for breakfast too.But overall very nice, I would stay there again,
