Never Again

Ok, where do I start? No internet for five days, and they kept telling me and registering guests that it should be in service soon. On day 2 when I asked about internet service, the response was "what are your complaints today?" Each day I had to go to the front desk to ask for coffee and towels for my room. The ice machine was out of order and the office's response was only that they'd heard that maybe it wasn't working. Lamps wouldn't stay plugged in so I taped the cords to the outlet. For five days/four nights, each day when I returned to my room I had to go ask the staff to re-key my key card. When I asked if they would go ahead and key it for the remainder of my stay, they refused and became rude and argumentative. The complimentary breakfast apparently included limited coffee only - most days out of coffee. They refused to print a reciept for me. And on and on. I normally would not take the time to speak poorly of a motel stay but I will never stay at this hotel again and I encourage the same for others.

Nasty Hotel, Incompetant Staff, Bad Experience

I usually don't leave reviews unless something is really good or really bad. I have always had excellent experiences with Days Inns in the past receiving very nice accomadations for the dollar. This was my first experience staying at one that was unsatisfactory. The other tennants were loud, offensive, the rooms were dirty, smelly, and the staff checking us in was very new and highly inadequate for the job. We were scheduled for a 2 night stay there but only stayed one night it was that bad. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere!

Did not meet my expectations

The staff was somewhat unattentive. I did not receive immediate attention when walking in the front door as the attendant was busy on Facebook. The room was not all that great. The bath tub backed up. The bed was not flat as there was like a hump in the mid back area. I repeatedly had to contact the front desk because the wireless internet service was not connecting. Each time they had to "reset the router in the laundry room". Some times that was successful and other times it was not. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable and Friendly

I came to Salt Lake City for my daughter to have surgery on her legs. We enjoyed a swim at the pool on wednesday. My daughter had surgery on thursday. We stayed at the motel again friday night. The motel was convenient to access the highway and light rail. The staff at the motel was very accommodating. We had no problem getting extra pillows to prop us my daughter's legs. The motel van driver picked us up from the airport upon arrival to Salt Lake City and took us back when we were ready to go home. The driver was very careful not to bounce my daughter. We would definitely stay at the Days Inn again.

the good the bad and ugly

WE have never stayed at this motel and would never stay again.Check in clerks at night were rude, just not friendly when ask simple questions. Can get over that but upon entering the room it was nice, standard. Then, looked in the refrigerator and found left over food, frig not cleaned.Towels were not stocked and then taking a shower I wanted to pull the shower curtain part that always folds over and leaks and it would not because ther was so much gross scum.Looking at the rest of the shower curtain it was covered in gross scum.Did not feel clean after taking my shower. The first towel I selected I tried to dry my face with and was unable to cause it smelled strongingly of a mans colgne or shaving lotion and had been used.Smelling the next towel it smelled the way it was suppose to,dryer fresh and of course used but was really freaked out.I could see finger prints all on the inside and outside of the bathroom door,so cleaned the door knobs at least. The next day went to the desk and a very very nice young female dayshift clerk was so helpful. She came to my room and we took the shower curtain down and she gave me a new one that was clean.Stocked up my towels and gave us complimentary items(shampoo and lotion). She was embarressed for the cleaning and very helpful, the way a clerk should be.We had our do not disturb sign during our stay so I do not know how daily cleaning would have been but I do know one night after returning to our room the room next to us door was still open as it was when we left that early am,like it was being cleaned but never finished so we closed the door and reported to front desk wito the unfriendly clerk. After everythig was basically straightened out with the shower curtain and all our stay was ok but it is not the way it should have started.Did experience the complientary breakfast our last day and it was very nice. Thank you,we always stay at Days Inn in West Yellowstone and always love the nice clean rooms and friendly staff.

Medical appt

The room was ok, not the cleanest around, but the only reason that we booked there was because it had a hot tub. The pool, hot tub, & exercise room was closed (condemned)by the city !! Everything was covered with black mold (running down equipment in exercise room & tv)!The clerk lied to us, by stating that it was open, even thou there was red closed by city sanitation signs ![...]

Would not recommend

The managers were very friendly but the hotel was dirty and not worth the money. Breakfast was stale rolls and warm coffee. Was very disappointed - had thought a Day Inn would be nicer
