Crystal Inn Hotel and Suites - Salt Lake City

When we arrived they didn't have our reservation, however, the front desk staff were able to find it very quickly. Great breakfast in the morning. Large room with a good bed. Overall a little pricy, but we enjoyed it.

The staff was friendly. I didn't try the morning breakfast, but I did see a large selection. Denny's is right next door if you miss it. This hotel was comfortable. Lovely bed. Nice couch area to watch tv. The bathroom was good as well. I had no complaints except that I could hear the little kids in the next room. Other than that, you are in the heart of Salt Lake and can walk everywhere. For the price, I'd definitely stay here again. Other hotels are $100 more expensive per night just for being slightly closer than this hotel already is. Save yourself lots of money, stay here, and just take the time to drive or walk.

The room was comfortable and the location of the hotel was within downtown and good restaurants. The free buffet breakfast was excellent.

Hotel itself was decent. Has a hot tub, Sauna, and pool that seemed well kept, but hot tub could be a bit hotter. Room was spacious, small sitting area and the beds were actually comfortable. Breakfast did include hot items as described in their listing, these included some king of meat, a potato side, eggs, oatmeal/cream of wheat with toppings, and either french toast or pancakes. If you are trying to make first chair though, get to breakfast early! We got down at 7am when it opens in the morning and had to wait 10 mins in line to get food. Location is good, if you don't have a car or if you just want to save gas and walk there is a Mc Donalds, Denny's, Wendys, PF Changs, and some other resturants withing a few blocks. A walk to the Rio Grande Mall takes only about 8-10 minutes and has other dining options.

Shuttle stopped running due to snow storm but the hotel paid for the cab. Breakfast and staff were excellent. Ask for top floor otherwise you will hear people walking around above you.Not alot of insulation between floors and walls.

The hotel is a bit worn, but other than that it meets the seal of approval. The staff were easy-going, helpful, and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with plenty of hot, quality dishes. Free shuttle to and from the airport is a bonus, and the location cannot be beat.

Really large room was nice to have. Breakfast selection and quality good Wish I had time to use the pool and sauna while there. My only complaint is that on my final day I had partial cleaning, meaning that the trash was taken, as was the bathmat, but bed wasn't made and bathmat and toiletries weren't replaced so I hd to go the front desk when I got in late after a long day and a white knuckle drive through snow-covered streets in the middle of a big storm. I didn't really mind any of this, except that 1) I'd had to extend my stay by a day due to the storm and was charged a far higher price (even after negotiation) than I'd been paying and 2) the person at the front desk didn't bat an eye or offer an apology that the cleaning wasn't really done.

Fantastic value for the price. Two very comfortable queen beds in a large room, a sitting area with a small couch, table and chairs; microwave and small frig; and a two sink vanity in a standard 2 queen room. Will definitely go back. Plus airport shuttle, very nice hot morning breakfast with different items every day. Friendly staff. Close walk to restaurants and Temple Square. Let us keep one of our rooms without charge for a change room until 4 p.m. on our last ski day. Only negatives were the jacuzzi jets weren't working and the closet was a bit small.

the one problem i had was arriving at the airport not knowing that i had to call for the shuttle and wound up waiting 45 min in the cold waiting for a shuttle that wasn't coming because there was no indication that i had to call for it.
