Great location, but very unorganized!
Aside from the location the hotel is pretty average. Also, there was no one at the desk for check-in, so I waited awhile for that until the maintenance worker finally came and helped me and informed that the person had gone home early. The next morning someone from hotel staff entered our room at 7:00 am without a knock or anything. When they couldn't enter, Because we had the double lock on, We were asked if we had ever checked in! Strange considering we would have to have a key to get in!

Clean
Overall, clean hotel and I got a good night's sleep. The first room's bath tub faucet leaked and the sink plunger couldn't retract up for the sink to drain. Adam, at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. Got me a new room, which was nice. Inconvenient to have to move, but needed in this case.

Smoking room!
I reserved a nonsmoking room for two people. We were two female friends at the end of a backpacking trip, flying out early in the morning. I got a smoking room with one bed. The desk clerk blamed [...] and said he couldn't change our room.

Amazing stay at a wonderful hotel.
This hotel was in a great location! Very central for the places we went, Park City and the Usana Ampitheater. It was also surrounded by great places to eat and shop. I only wish they had a pool, besides that the room was great and the staff was very helpful for us out-of-towners.

Great Place to Stay
We had been there a year ago and loved our room, a separate bedroom, living area, two TV's and we thought all rooms were like that. Disappointed a bit, but still enjoyed our stay. Did find when we tried to call out or call the desk, no one answered for quite some time and we could not call out of our room or set up our voice mail/phone registration until much later that night. Advertising for the hotel should exactly explain the set up of all the rooms. "Suites" to me meant they were separate bedrooms and living area. Would go back again however but would make sure we got a "suite".

Lots of places to eat and shop a short walk from the hotel. The pantry was great for quick pick me ups and convenience.

Over night stay
Don't stay unless you don't like AC
Air Conditioning in room was broken. Staff did nothing to help. 81 degress in room in evening. 75 with window open. Window didn't even have a screen. Staff did next to nothing to make it right with me.

Candlewood Suites SALT LAKE CITY
This is a first class hotel, located with close access to the interstate highway loop and shopping. It has a separate bedroom, with a TV set in both the living and bedroom. It also has a kitchenette, complete with flatware, cookware and dishes! I would recommend this hostelry to even the most discriminating traveler.

Good location, clean, friendly staff
The hotel was very nice. I was disappointed that the internet didn't work. We called tech support etc. The manager never returned out call, however.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
This hotel is great since it is close to the canyons. This is great for hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter. And the prices are better than downtown. Stay closer to the canyons and farther away from traffic.
