Candlewood Suites SALT LAKE CITY-AIRPORT

I like going with Candlewood as a business traveler. They are clean, well equipped and have a friendly staff.

I had a business trip to Salt Lake and wanted to take advantage of that and meet with my sister from WY. She drove over to spend the evening and next day with me. The location of the hotel was great as it wasn't far from a major freeway. We found the Staff to be very friendly and very helpful when asked assistance on nearby businesses. We liked that we were able to cook our own dinner in the room and that we could have cold drinks at our fingertips. The store and availability of movies to watch is a great thing, more hotels should have that! The ONLY issue we had was the smell in the elevator and first floor, kind of musty, and could tell people were smoking in the halls and elevator. Our room did not have that smell as it was a non-smoking room. I would stay again.

everything (location, amenities, shuttle service) was perfect! I would recomed this hotel for my friends!

We were there for the week to find a house to live in before we move there. It was awesome to have their pantry there and free laundry besides the soap. The only thing that could make this hotel better is if it had a pool.

This stay was good and convient since it is only a five minute drive to the airport, and you get a free shuttle and can leave your vehicle for free while you're gone. The exercise room was well equipped and free laundry was definately a plus! The room was clean and shower worked great. However, my wife and I did not get a good nights sleep. The bed sagged in the middle, the pillows were horrible (very flat) and the refrigetor made lots of noise during the night. Overall the stay was good but could have been better!

Check in great. Room horrible. Stains all over floor so I took pictures. Desk chair broken. Recliner broken. Great bed but no king available. Won't return. Probably writing a letter.

[...] I will bad mouth this particular Candlewood Suites to as many as possible beginning with you folks. And to be honest, the carpet was filthy as you walk into my room and the service was far from even good. One elevator for the entire complex! Sad. I hope tyou will help me so this won't happen to others.I travel almost 35 weekends a year for business and in 22 years this was the second time this has happened to me. And I won't mention who the first one was but they wish they had not crossed me up as surely they lost a lot of business after I broadcasted there absurdities to all I could. I hope the worst for this place, really I do. And even if I was given a free weeks stay I would not go back! What nerve and audacity to treat a business traveller with so little regard for our busy schedules and our expenses. I have other profane words I could call them, but will keep that to myself and to my word of mouth expressions to friends.

It was just what I was looking for. I was in town for an all day sport event with a meeting to follow the next day. I was super tired and needed a quite place to rest and relax. Check in was a breeze and the room was super clean. I loved the full size fridge and mini stove that was in the rooms for use; along with dishes, but I was too tired to actually cook. Dinning options near the hotel were great. Easy to get to, even with the road construction. The location is fine, but the road construction was less than desirable, but the hotel can't do anything about that. Over all it was a wonderful stay. I will be booking again here.

Needs to get Wireless internet and daily housekeeping service.

Good basic clean hotel near the airport. Kitchen lets me prepare my own breakfast and save time and money.
