Airport Inn Hotel

The hotel was close to the airport & they had a shuttle for pickup. Was very convenient.

While the rooms were fine (as in what you would expect for a business class hotel), clean and comfortable, the facilities (restaurant) and staff are lacking. The staff is not knowledgeable or willing to be helpful if they don't know or are confused. Had a front desk agent call me in my room and offer me a ride to my business meeting the following morning, stating "what did you pay for the taxi, I will take that." I feel sorry for the guy if he needs more money but I thought it was a little inappropriate to call and offer the services using his own car especially when the hotel had contracted with a shuttle service to ferry people back and forth. I wasn't the only person in the hotel attending the ocnvention.

My friend and I had a great time relaxing by the pool and getting into the hot tub. I understand why people think its dated. It's prob over 20 years old, but built very well. Mostly brick construction. Included breakfast was good. I got 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. Delivered to my table. Staff was super friendly :-)

The room was clean and quiet. The double beds were a little small as well as the room size but it was close to the airport.

For the price, the overall value was good. However, the indoor pool was freezing, and I found a pill on the floor. The breakfast was really good, and the beds were comfortable.

I called the front desk around 8 pm to report the wireless internet was not working. They said to come to the lobby. I requested that it be fixed. It was still not working the next morning.

I only stayed for a night at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a very good night sleep the bed was very cozy. The temperature of the room still was good after I turned off the heating/cooling unit. I was afraid that it would be noise because it is very near to the airport, but I was surprised that was very quiet. The hotel was very near to restaurants if you did not want to eat at the Chinese restaurant that is inside the hotel. It is also about three miles from the airport and allowed me to sleep those extra minutes and avoid the traffic of the city. I was very pleased with the amenities (breakfast, internet, and parking) no extra charge! One thing that turn me off was that the staff at the reception are not very welcoming. They need to smile more and make the people feel welcome. I felt that I was bothering them when I checked into the hotel and when I checked out. Overall, I think I got the bang for my buck.

I booked this hotel to give my body a break between the long flight from Sydney, Australia and the short flight to my home state. I just wanted a place to lay my weary head. I found that and much more. The bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary shuttle service whisked me away from and back to the terminal. The restaurant served an excellent Chinese dinner and then a complimentary breakfast the next morning. The staff was courteous and delightful. I will certainly remember them in the future.
