Close to the airport
This hotel is only a few minutes drive from the airport; this was great for us. They also run a free shuttle service to and from the airport and it runs 24/7. This was wonderful for us since we had daughters arriving from and returning to the airport at three different times. The desk staff were courteous and helpful with any questions we had. The rooms are old and somewhat worn but adequate for rest and sleeping--no WI-FI in the rooms nor frig/microwave. You have to pay more for rooms with such. There was a free breakfast with choice of eggs/bacon or sausage, toast, and potatoes; second choice was yogurt with fruit, granola, and toast. The dinner menu was all oriental. Servings were very generous. Unfortunately there are no other restaurants nor fast food close to the hotel. Overall, I would rate the Airport Inn Hotel a bit better than average.

Great place
This was definitely one of the nicer experiences of my trip. The staff was pleasant, friendly and yet professional in every way. Room was clean as well as everything else I could see. Shuttle staff pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Salt Lake City.

Very nice hotel
Overall, really nice. The only downfall is that there was a huge party going on and it was very loud.

Conventient to airport
Hotel restaurant open late, excellent service and food, breakfast was good, staff accommodating, shuttle readily available. Room was comfortable. Would stay there again.

Hotel was far from city, it is suitable to travelers being close to the Airport. Public area and entrance was not clean, ceiling was squekey. Hotel is very old in every way.

Good Night Sleep
I was very happy with the Airport Inn. I had an amazing bed. I was in complete comfort the entire stay. I do wish they had more to offer in terms of amenities. The hotel though it's really close to the airport, it's far from everything else. it would be nice if they had another restaurant or bar situated on the premises. Other than that I had a great stay. The front desk team was superb!

Long walk from hotel
There a few fast food restaurants but it is a long walk. The hotel staff will tell you two blocks and theoretically they are correct. What they don't tell you is that each block is almost a mile. So it's a long walk. They should offer a shuttle service to these areas for dining options in my opinion.

Weird setup
Bathtub and lavatory actually IN the bedroom. Commode in very tiny room. Strange mix of styles. Car rental company's industrial car wash next door, runs all day and half the night. Nice sitting room. Close to airport and cheap. Few unused electrical outlets.

Lights out
The best thing about our stay was the chowmein in Sunny's bistro. The power went out and we couldn't get a shower because there was no hot water! They didn't offer a refund or anything. Oh, and why is there a pool in the lobby?

Overnight Stay
The place was old and seemed dirty. The room was cute and the furniture was nice, but it just wasn't deep cleaned. Needs better cleaning; I was afraid to hang my clothes in the closet even.
