Nice, quiet place to stop near I-70
I've stopped here before on my way back from Utah to Colorado and enjoyed it. Richfield is a very small, quiet town right off of I-70. There are only fast food places near the hotel, but if you drive a few blocks to Main Street, there are a few restaurants.

Stiff Neck!
the place was nice but hard to sleep because the pillows were like rubber and hard to make yourself comfortable!

Excellent service and beautiful hotel!
The Fairfield Inn was well above what we expected for the price. The lobby is beautiful and you can tell all of their furniture is new and kept up very well. There is a VERY convenient business center where you can use computers, printers, fax, etc. The fitness center is small but updated with state of the art cardio machines with individual TVs. The pool is very clean. The room was on the smaller side but very nice. The decor was fun and modern. The concierge was friendly and helped us with restaurant recommendations, directions, and much more! Overall I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Steve's Steakhouse is under 2 miles away and had good steaks. The concierge recommended the place and it worked out well. They don't have a huge menu, but the ribeye was good as well as the filet. Not too expensive but not cheap (steaks from $20-$30 with salad, potatoes, etc). Great if you're roadtripping and sick of fast food!
