Pretty Good Place

The staff were exceeding friendly and helpful!!! I wish I would have gotten the 'night watchman's' name because he was quite nice. My only minor complaint is that the wi-fi didn't work.

Ok stay

The hotel was alright at best. Good location to BYU though. My TV busted, and it took 2 days before they came to fix it. Other than that, no complaints.

satisfactory stay

we went to orem, utah for some baseball games and we were about 10 to 15 minutes away from the stadium at utah valley state university where we watched the orem owlz play and being a huge byu fan we were about a 1 minute walk away from thier football stadium and my boys loved that. we enjoyed the hotel and found most of the conviences of home. over all we had a great time and a great stay. i would stay there again when i go to another sporting event.

Don't stay here

This hotel was far below average. The front desk staff ([...]) was rude and not helpful. The hotel was dirty and old. The pool was closed while we were there "Due to health code violations". The hotel was also quite noisy with sounds coming from everywhere. The only good thing it had going for it was the location.

Good value for one night stay

We stayed here on our way back from Arches NP before heading back home. The hotel was great for a one night stay and had a small/sufficient breakfast included. The hotel's decor is tired and run down, which contributed to a feeling of dirtiness, but the room we had was clean and spacious and had a refigerator and microwave. There was also a computer down in the lobby, which allowed us to check into our flight and print our boarding passes before heading to the airport. The hotel is close to the university and lots of places to eat (there is a dq right next door). We would recommend this for a night or two but maybe not an extended stay or if you need to spend lots of time in the room. Overall, a good value for the money.

review of Super 8

The hotel quests that arrived late or were just up late were very noisy and rude. We has to keep the fan running on the heating unit the block the noise. Rooms were comfortable but the hotel was run down.

Not worth ANY price

Old looking hotel that really needs updating. Found dead bugs on the floor that hadn't been vacuumed up. Had a roll-away bed that smelled like gasoline had been spilled on it. We were there on a busy night and had trouble finding a parking place. After talking to two different staff, three different times about where we had parked and what the make, model, and license plate #'s of our cars were, we found that one of our cars had been TOWED the next morning when we were checking out to go attend the conference we had registered for. We had to go pick up the car ourselves and missed our class. Staff didn't apologize once and acted as if the problem was our fault. They also mentioned that I was not THEIR customer, I was an [...] customer. Will never stay there again---or another Super 8 for that matter.

Where's the hot water?

Had trouble getting key card to work. Had to remove the hair from the drain before I could stop the tub. Then there was no hot water. Laying in the bathtub of cold water is the best way to find the mold along the bottom of the shower stall, the grunge in the toilet bowl, and the dirt on the floor and under the sink. The second day I had no hot water in the morning. I called the operator, who told me that was a maintenance issue; as if I'm the one that needed to call maintenance! Third day, I got up 2 hours earlier than necessary so that I could have hot water -- and then there was no ice. Can't say that I will go back to that hotel.
