The carpet looked like it wasn't vacuumed in days. The toilet needed to be scrubbed, stains on the bed cover (even though they looked new). Debris all over in the corners and behind the nightstand. Noisy intersection, old drafty door. But the
front staff offered one free stay-- which I declined.
Motel is good enough for a stay when you want to be close to BYU. It is only 1/2 block from the Lavel Edwards Stadium. The complimentary breakfast is adequate although the eating area is quite small.
Overall it is an average ordinary place to
stay, but the location makes it very desirable.
Perfect location for us while in Provo/Orem area. Very pleased to be able to reserve a room with king-size bed, fridge, and microwave. Able to check in an hour early. Indoor pool was quite cold, not heated, and hot tub was empty and not
functioning, but we still enjoyed swimming with our grandchildren. Sorry the breakfast didn't include any eggs - was mostly carbs, like waffles and cereal.
I have stayed at this hotel before and my room was a lot better. This room had obviously been broken into at some point because the door jam was busted a bit and the door seemed real loose. There was garbage from the previous guest under the beds
so they obviously didn't do a thorough cleaning. I will probably not stay here again.
If you want an inexpensive stay in a place that has been around awhile and seen better days, this is it. The room was quiet and clean, but definitely tired. If you want the newest, most modern surroundings, move on, but if you are interested in a
quick overnight stay for a decent price, this is just fine. The breakfast was full of carbs, but included so that helps with trip expenses. There were plenty of families with kids as I saw at breakfast, but didn't hear them so the walls are thick enough. Good choice.
The hotel staff was nice and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great if you are visiting kids or family around the University. The breakfast was adequate and the pool looked clean and nice even though we didn't use it. There was also
an exercise room. That said, the hotel is very very old and shows it. We had unplugged lamps stacked all over our room and the air conditioner kept switching off during the night. The hot water tap was broken so we only got cold showers. It was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
