I stayed while attending a family reunion over the summer and the hotel was adequate. It was close to Olive Garden and a small Walmart and was right down the street from the University Mall. All in all it was a satisfying stay.
Hotel was great, staff was very helpful, only down sides were every thing around was closed on Sunday, the hot tub was cold and there was no information in the room about local restaurants. Which would have come in handy when relaxing on Sunday
and all places in walking distance were closed. WI'll stay there again next time in town visiting our daughter, just know to get food for in the room on Saturday if not planning on going out and about.
What can you do when a hotel is pretty much perfect for the price? Give it five stars. So I did. This hotel was a steal. Traveling with dogs, I have become an expert on the dives and dumps of North America. The Baymont was a breath of fresh air in
every way. The setting, backing on to a river, is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and incredibly, amazingly, wonderfully clean. Absolutely no ick factor. The furnishings are, admittedly, a little dated but still good for the price. The staff were extremely helpful and respectful. We are definitely going back when we do our annual trek north in the spring and again when we head south in the fall.
We had no problems with the Baymont in Provo. It is in a nice area as well; it is tucked into the trees a little bit which gives a bit more privacy in the city. It is also conveniently located to stores such as Walmart and Shopko, so if you forgot
anything, it is not a worry. I would definitely stay there again.
Check-in staff was friendly and smooth, lobby was beautifully furnished with a fireplace. Our room was impeccably clean and attractive. Plenty of towels, nice view, multiple lighting options, and spacious. Lost a star for the below-average quality
of the continental breakfast (though hey - it was free!) and lack of little treats in the room (no chocolates, welcome note, etc).
