Exactly what I was hoping to expect.
I really enjoyed the staff very much, they were interesting people. Everyone was extremely polite to me, considering I was a young adult on spring break in a very swanky environment. Usually I run into a few snobs, but this was not the case. Excellent polite house keeping as well. And the best part, is how convenient everything was for two young travelers.

first time skiing in utah!
my boyfriend and i stayed at sundial for 5 nights (monday - saturday). we had a very pleasant experience. the room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. the room was lacking storage. there was no dresser, only two large drawers under the tv cabinet. there was also no shelves or cabinet in the bathroom. the underground parking was convenient (although we had to have our keycard reprogrammed twice during our stay). the hot tub on the 3rd floor was great for relaxing. based on other reviews i was expecting sundial to be a bit more upscale, but everything was completely adequate and easy. the canyons resort is convenient to park city and deer valley and was about a 40 minute drive to alta. we definitely recommend skiing at alta and deer valley over the canyons. we got a great deal for this hotel and our plane tickets and definitely enjoyed our trip!

Unbeatable Ski in/Ski out Location
Our family of 3 enjoyed ANOTHER great stay at the Sundial Lodge. You really cannot beat this location for a true ski in/ski out to the Red Pine Gondola. As parents we appreciated the privacy of a bedroom and our teenage son slept on the sofa bed in the living room. Having a full kitchen is great for breakfast and hitting the slopes bright and early. Our son enjoyed the pool and spa in the evenings. Our only disappointment was that the king size bed was a little too soft for our liking, but that will not put us off from returning next year!

weekend getaway
staff was friendly and helpful, lift tickets, gondola, and restaurants just outside the main entrance. Easy walk to the Grand Summit hotel for their restaurants, spa, and nightly shuttle to town. Also close to city bus stop which comes by every hour and goes to main street park city. Only complaint was mattress on bed was too soft. Would definately stay here again
