Not worth it!

The hotel was in a good location except they were doing construction all around it so ther wasnt much piece and quiet. The room also had a balcony but it was so close to the other buildings that you just had a view of the other rooms, not a very good view at all. The building that our room was in smelled very bad and our beds were very hard, I actually slept on the floor because they were so uncomfortable. I was expecting a lot more and got a lot less. We are planning another trip to Park City and will not be staying here again.

Prospector Square Lodge & Conference Cen

THe hotel is good in general. 2 details to improve: - Internet wireless is slow, could be faster - No bath tub, the shower is very low (many times hit the head ) and the floor at the bathroom is very cold - take an croc or flip flop or ask for another floor towel to step in after you leave the shower. In overall the staff are very kindly and gentle, the heat of the room was ok, kitchen works pretty well, good location, even those without car can get the bus near the hotel. Good bedrooms, good housecleaning.

Cozy studio

Studio type of hotel room, with small kitchen, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dinning ware, and FIREPLACE! My wife really likes it. The front desk staff was very nice and patient. The only problem I have is the poor sound isolation, you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway. The hotel does require an early check out of 10 am. But you can call the front desk to see if you can check out a little bit late.

Great place to stay

We wanted to stay at a nice hotel without breaking the bank. This was exactly what we got. I requested one of the newly renovated rooms with a fireplace. It was a great room. Very classy! Kitchenette was beautiful, as was the rest of the room's decor. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. The beds were decent. Bathroom was very nice. The rock fireplace was a wonderful center piece. Flat screen tv, bar off the kitchen, plenty of seating, plenty of storage and design. the location is good, only a five minute drive from main street. Now for the not so hot.. There are several buildings that make up this hotel. As we entered our building it was clear that people LIVED there. The smell and dingy look of the common hallway had us very worried before getting to our room. In fact the room across from ours was sporting a"wipe your paws" doormat...not a good sign. As mentioned above, once inside we were in a different world. For the most part. Above us, was a stampede or a matching band. I couldn't tell you what was going on up there, but it started early in the morning and involved running back and forth over and over again. The bathroom was nice as I said, but it could have been great.there was a small area that needed a drywall patch. And they didn't provide soap for the 2nd sink. I don't understand why they wouldn't take care of these easy fixes. It would make a huge difference. when all is said and done I would stay here again if the price was right.

Goood place to stay

Nice spacious quiet room. We had the cheapest room type and it still had fridge, microwave, full coffee maker, real coffee cups and silverware. Hot tub and pool were closed because that area was being used for a local theater production, so check first. Close to main town and free city buses for tourists go right to hotel entrance.

My review of Prospector Square Lodge & Conference Center

There was an electrical short-out from using the blow dryer. And this problem was not fixed promptly. If you need something very cheep and plan on it being very cheep, this is probably your best bet.
