Great resort & vacation spot

We had a great vacation at the Grand Summit. The accommodations were perfect; clean, roomy, quiet. There were numerous activities right on-site and even more close by. The staff were all wonderful. The whole family took mountain biking lessons and the trainers were terrific. We would definitely go back.

Family Get Together

Hotel was comfortable and well located. Room had plumbing issues and no lights in the bedroom upon arrival. We had requested two rooms adjoining (or least near eachother) but were put on different floors (eventhough the hotel was half empty. The one bedroom suite was spacious.

Ski in - ski out - I'm coming back!

We stayed in a one bedroom that had a fully working kitchen -and a real coffee pot. Walk outside and there is the ski lift. Walk to the next complex and rent skis. Child care there is amazing- first time we ever left our six month old and they were great. Typical resort food- mediocre at best - but its ok. The staff is probably the nicest and most accommodating staff you will find (better than Four Seasons and The Ritz). I'm coming back - great place

Great Hotel:)

The hotel was great. The staff was extremely friendly. The staff was happy to help anyone. The hotel is family/kid friendly. The slopes are right outside the hotel. We are planning a trip back to the Canyons. The price is very affordable to stay for 4 or more days. The restaurants in and out of the hotel are affordable, so is ski rentals.

Unbeatable location for the price

The hotel is located not too far from Park City Village and it closer to the bus route which is FREE. We got to stay in a suite which have a kitchen and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner. It save us a lot of money from eating out which was very expensive, since there were six people in the group. Also, we came during the off season, and the hotel was very QUIET. We didn't have to listen to people constantly flushing the toilet late at night or early in the morning and absolutely no doors banging close or open all the time. Overall, the hotel is very nice and the price is just right for this time of the year.

Try to eat in town. It much cheaper than at the hotel, since this is kind of a fancy hotel. If you can get a suite or condo that is a plus, because you can cook your own meals unless you prefer to eat out.

Canyons Grand Summit

The hotel is beautiful from the outside! Beautiful lobby, very friendly, helpful, nice staff, & in the most beautiful location. Pricing is very affordable. But the beds are terrible and the pillows are just terrible! I couldn't even sleep and didn't till 4 am. The rooms are new - but feel 15 years old. The rooms need new blinds, beds and furniture. The Mountainside Marriott is much more comfortable

Nice staycation for the family

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful. The room did not have "on demand" to purchase current movies. They did have a DVD vending machine for $5.95 per movie but the VCR wasn't connecting properly so we couldn't watch it. The hotel is difficult to navigate as far as location of parking garage and rooms. The pool is small for a hotel of this size. There was a summer music festival next to the hotel with food vendors and you could ride the chair lift and gondola which was wonderful.

The Park City Mountain Resort down the street has a zip line, roller coaster and alpine slide for the kids. There is also factory outlet stores just off the Kimball Junction exit which are fantastic!
