excellent luxury skiing lodge

Great location, impressive luxury facilities and accommodation. Negative was that the ski-in ski-out was not available (ski-lift closed until Dec. 4th.) even so that was my reason to book that hotel. Hotel staff was very efficient, gracious and most helpful and friendly. Highest marks of any hotel I have stayed for many years.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

High end accommodation facility for ski-in and out. The swimming pool is outdoors, so for winter time it is cold to get in and out of the heated pool. It would be recommendable to have an indoor pool (or indoor-outdoor partially covered pool for the winter time

my night at stein

I stayed here 24 years ago for my 30th birthday, it was terrific then and it's better now. Perfect location, fantastic staff, I got a huge room upgrade. I hiked all afternoon and then had dinner in the lounge. All I wanted was a great half bottle of burgundy and cheese plate which they made special for me. The wine lady is a treasure!! Once I am done paying tuition for my kids I will go back!
