Soft bed, great value

This is the second time we've stayed at the Silver King. It's a great value, especially for the larger rooms which are have kitchenettes and some of the softest beds I've ever slept in.

Great time, great place!

We loved Park City and were very pleased with our accommodations at the Silver King. We had a studio room with a full kitchen, and we liked the fact that there were two bathroom sinks (a vanity area and one in the actual bathroom). We enjoyed the hot tub. Our room (312) was in a great location - only a couple doors down from the back exit of the hotel (3rd floor), which was directly across the parking lot from the ski lifts. We were also right down the hall from the hot tub and pool but not too close where we heard any noise. The underground parking was very convenient. I had read comments that the parking spots were too small for SUV's but we didn't have a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel and a trip to Park City! Fabulous restaurants and Park City is a great town with character! We skied Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons and felt Park City was the perfect base.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Reef's Restaurant was our fave of the trip, although every place where we dined was excellent. Reef's had the personalized service with very friendly management and staff, and the food was creative and delicious. They have fabulous Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. MMM good! The salmon was especially incredible and the cardamom tea was freshly brewed and wonderful!

Very Nice place

We stayed in a quiet one bedroom, that was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Walk across a fairly small parking lot and you are on the slopes for Skiing at PCMR. Right on the bus line, which was important to main street during Sundance. Nice hot tub. My Wife liked the workout room. We have stayed on the slope in PC but it was really noisy. Here it was quiet and just a few steps to everything. We really liked it.

Great bed, quiet and close

This hotel has very comfortable beds, a must for me. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was my birthday trip and the staff assisted my husband with purchasing flowers and surprise delivery. We arrived late and the processs for checking in and getting keys was very easy. The rooms needed some updating and help with decor, and housekeeping but, was adequate. Close location for services and downtown shopping. We spent a wonderful day exploring the nearby State Parks, Utah's natual beauty is hard to beat. This is my fourth trip to Park City and still is one of my favorite destinations.

Silver King GTG

We spent 6 nights skiing in Park City. The room was outstanding...large one bedroom with two baths. The only issue (and it really wasn't an issue at all) was the appliances were very outdated. They all worked, but newer appliances would have made the room a solid 5+. Friends stayed in a two bedroom that was very updated. Ultimately, it didn't matter...the 20 year old coffee pot made coffee everyday, and the microwave like my grandmother had heated everything we put in it. As for location, there were onsite ski lockers and we were a couple hundred yards from the first time lift where you could also buy lift tickets. A great trip overall with one VERY MINOR issue. I would certainly stay there again.

poor showing

No water first morning. That's correct no water. Broken pipe; ok out of thier immediate control. However no consideration offered either. Dirty dishes in the dish washer. Inadequate parking. Room is nice. Compliant about lack of parking was answered "Sorry". When reminded about the water problem and how about some consideration. Answer "sorry". When I check out and (if) they ask how my stay was.. "sorry"

Water nightmare - maintenance inadequate

My family just returned from a long ski weekend at the Silver King. We stayed 4 nights and had to call maintenance 2 out of 4 nights due to water related issues - washing machine flooded the unit soaking the carpet and water from dishwasher flooded the kitchen. Needless to say the accommodations were disappointing with wet carpet the unit smelled sour and all maintenance could offer was to steam clean the carpet after we leave The unit we stayed in was for sale and had been on the market more than 500 days which I completely understand why given the condition and maintenance needs. The staff wasn't helpful nor responsive as I had to call several times before maintenance came. The location was great to the slopes but service was lacking ----
