Hotel was not what i expected

When i was researching where to stay during my vacation in UT I fell in love with the Park Plaza Resort website/pictures. However, when you arrive, it is not as it appears in their website. The most frustrating part of my stay was the construction underway in the underground parking and a lot of noise such as jackhammering which is not how i want to be woken up from my sleep - I'm on vaca mind you. I chose Park City because i wanted to relax so this was really troublesome. We parked our car in the adjacent parking lot. Had i known about the construction underway i would not have stayed here. Secondly, there was a leak from the bathroom to the closet that appeared after we showered. I had to take my stuff out of the closet so it didn't get wet. The female manager was alerted and indicated they would look in to it but they didn't. Obviously, they know about their leaks. Third, the hotel shuttle only runs in the Winter season not during the Summer. However, there is great public transporation that is extremely convenient. As with most reviews, yes, the hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating, however, overall, i was disappointed.

Great value and close to the action

The room was very nice. Since the pool is in the center of the hotel, the noise level would get a little high with kids playing but there were doors in the hallway that blocked a lot of the noise. The hotel is close to the bike trail and provides easy access to Main Street. We would stay there again.

Adorable

This was a perfect little spot. The room was adorable with everything you needed, including a fridge, burners, dishes, complimentary items, etc. The room overlooked the indoor pool and the staff was great. I think it was a great find.

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

Or short drive. Main street is only a mile and a half away and has restaurants, entertainment, shopping, art galleries, and a place to research family history. Lovely town and of course if you are a skier/ snowboarder, great place to vacation.

Average hotel, average price, and average value

My experience was very average. There are both a hot tub and pool, but both are inside and offer no privacy. The staff was courteous and responsive, but only posessed average knowledge of local eating establishments. The hotel is near both Deer Valley and Park City ski areas.

Great place to stay

Our room at this place was very much like a luxury apartment. It was a few miles to the historic downtown and had lots of restaurants nearby.
