Great location, fantastic price!
Linzi, mom in need of relaxation Oct 31, 2009
My husband and I went on a 3 day getaway to the Westgate. We were very pleased with our room. It was cozy, clean, and had ... an amazing view. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, fireplace, large tub, robes, and an amazing shower. We were there for a relaxing break from our kids so this was perfect for us. My only complaint is that after we went to dinner on our first night there we came back to find our parking garage was closed for 2-3 days. Which meant that we had to park in another building and then hike back to ours. The hotel is rather large and a little bit confusing. So once inside the other parking garage it became kind of a game to figure out where we were. I am 7 months pregnant so the extra walking to our building was kind of a task. It seems to me that they shouldn't have booked us in that building if they intended to close parking. Other than this, I was completely happy with our stay and would definitely go back with just us or our children.

Great Hotel
TJ Oct 11, 2009
The hotel was as advertised. First class place with spacious room. We did the 1br Suite, and it was perfect. Fireplace, large ... area to relax and the shower with steamer was a must try! My only compliant and its minor, is the request by the hotel to be checked out by 10:00am. We arrived late so, we didn't get a chance to walk the grounds, use the pool, or workout area. The first time I have ever seen this rule. Most time it's Noon for check out with some wiggle room.

beautiful setting

beautiful setting at the Canyons. The room was equipped with small kitchen. We did go down to find a vending machine and it ... took 20 minutes to find our way back. The hotel is a confusing collection of buildings that are not very well marked. There was a 4 paragraph explaination in the elevator that didn't help too much and the staff wasn't much better at explaining it. Very conveniently located between Park City proper and outlet shopping, besides it is a breath-taking view out of our room.

Westgate Park City Review
Football Mom Oct 8, 2009
I tried unsuccessfully to arrange for late check-out (regular check out time is 10:00 a.m.). Even offered to pay up to 1/2 ... day's lodging...they WOULDN'T budge. Said they were booked solid...didn't appear to be so. Just seems to me that with a check-in time of 4:00, they could have been a bit more flexible.

Loved the hotel--the price was awesome, the only problem we had was that we were quite sure we had signed up for a room with ... a king-size bed and sofa sleeper and ended up with a queen size or full and sofa sleeper. Other than that, it was perfect.

The 18 and older pool, seperate from the family pool, was nice and relaxing. The family pool looks awesome for the next time ... we bring our kids. Great activities both indoor and out. Gorgeous views! I wish our room was not connected to another room. We could hear our neighbors through the connecting door. Also it would have been nice to have a DVD player in the bedroom..

Well, I must say the area is quite nice. The rooms look nice , though the walls are paper thin. The noise from other guests ... were off the charts. This resort is "NOT FOR COUPLES". The policies of checking in at dinner time and then being rushed off the property by 10:00 AM is very unwelcoming. I would recommend it for guests that are hard of hearing and guests that don't mind being rushed in and out.

The Westgate Resort in Park City is an awesome place to stay! My husband and I just went there for a little get away for the ... second time this summer. The rooms are nice with a big, comfy bed. You can wrap up in a robe after you take a bubble bath in the jetted tub. We love the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends for a romantic get away or for a family vacation. There are lots of things to do and see.

Could be better
Nicki Jul 27, 2008
They staff were very pleasant and tried to get us all set as quickly as they could. The rooms themselves are awesome. ... Very spacious and beautiful with a comfortable bed. All of those things are wonderful but our room had a horrible smell that we never could identify. It was really bad and we had to open the windows to survive. The room seemed spotlessly clean but it stunk. I also noticed the hallways sometimes were smelly too. It is a shame. I would hesitate to stay there and would hesitate to recommend it to a friend without the smell and checkin warning.
