Great Place to Stay
Accommodations great. Staff friendly. Would be nice to have been informed about different things to do in the area. A full-service Spa would be beneficial.

Hotel was beautiful, staff very pleasant. Rooms need full length mirror, as well as mirror outside bathroom for additional dressing. Ice needs to be available in buildings instead of by room service. Staff was very pleasant, although our luggage was delayed, an item broken and not replaced, and basic info over phone not available/didn't know. Convenience (ski in/out) a plus. Hot tub/pool outstanding.

Ski Getaway
Staff was great. Wished the property had a working resturant (coming Dec 2011) on-site. The Canyons had plenty of dinning options within walking distance. Location was perfect. Free public transportation into Park City was great. If you stay late for dinner and drinks in the city and need a cab the cab fees are not metered but negotiated. Umbrella Bar was a Great Hangout after a day of runs on the mountain. Staff was fun and helpful.

Exceptional Hotel, but
Wonderful hotel and great upgrade. The only problem was that [...] we had to pay an additional $20 per day resort fee. To me, a fee is a fee and should have been inclusive.

Hyatt Escala
Great loacation for winter vacations. When it comes to summer There is not much to do. During summer the resturants at Canyons Resort seem to be closed for the season. YOu must drive to Park City proper or to Kimball junction to eat. At night that is fine but at 8 am i just wanted eggs and bacon. Once we were settled the stay was great, quiet and friendly staff.

Great time in Park City
Overall the hotel was good to very good. Two bedroom suite with full kitchen and family area was well layed out. It was plenty for our party of three adults and 1 child. Staff was very pleasant but sometimes the information that they gave regarding things to do and restaurants went from a little off to just plain wrong. The hotel has a small provisions area for coffee and other food items that is open from 7- 11. A restaurant is scheduled to open soon.

Great location, great rooms and service!
We skied at Canyons. Access to the lift is easy. The hotel itself is nearly brand new, the hot tub and pool are excellent. THe only thing it is currently missing is a restaurant. Not such a big deal though since the valet will drive you to the Grand Summit and the other hotels for dinning if you request it. A restaurant looks like it will be under construction at the end of this season (so this month. Again, the rooms are excellent here. They include a european style and feature a gas log, a sink, and a sub zero refrigerator.

Make sure to watch out how to get back to the hotel. You need to take Sunrise and that will take you right back to the Escalda.
